I'm just a beginner and have only dealt with VB.net, c++ and python. In my opinion though the easiest language to learn is Python. With python the language is the closest to human language.

For example, say if you wanted to do the infamous "Hello World!" app in python:

All you do is;

print "Hello World!"

The escapes are the same as in C++, so [\t, \n, ...etc] are all the same.

Java is essentially based off of C++ and html is another syntax entirely.

So using python if C++ is troublesome.

I was scared away by all the info i needed to fill in and assumed I would have to pay eventually... so I un-installed and am now re-installing after finding out you can register for free... my computer must hate me...

I believe that people who wan't to learn c++ know how to click next button and so on. A little bit too detailed. I wonder if he makes next year's tutorial like this: "Now move your mouse towards you. Now your cursor has moved down." But otherwise good tut.

I remember when installing an app simply meant dragging it from a CD onto your hard drive and then double clicking on it to run it. It didn't require 20 steps.
