Awesome review, it helped me finally pull the trigger on a used one and boy I have never been happier. Its an expensive watch though... being that it looks good on so many different straps and I had to buy them all--a rubber tropic, hirsch medici leather, omega mesh bracelet, bond nato, and a black nato.
Out of nowhere I stumbled across this video about 2 months ago, was about to buy a carrera, fell instantly in love with this and just got back from the watch shop with my new diver, and it's so impressive in person Thanks man!
@odogg1946 i got the jaeger lecoultre master compressor memovox * discontinued as far as i know * ... and to be honest i like it even more than the memovox. Memovox is way too thick for you to be wearing it every day, its crystal will scratch easily etc... but hey it's all about what each one of us wants/needs so if you manage to find a memovox go for it ;) Even though it's gonna be hard finding one in the first place. If you are however that lucky i'd rather have the paris boutique model ;)
@azaas Cheers for the info! Does the Paris boutique model have any special features? And yes it has been very hard to find the Memovox. Only found the platinum edition $40,000 dollars. Ouch! Is the polaris hesalite glass AR or sapphire?
After all those months i still stand by my original impression and i'll say it once again! I love this watch! Time keeping continued being excellent , no movement issues whatsoever and in fact no issues in general ! The only tip i can give you is that since you seem to be a fan of such simple and not too loaded dials i suggest you take a look at the Breitling SuperOcean Heritage 46 mm ;)
Oh they're usually more expensive ... this one i got for around 1400 Euros which is like 2000$ or sm like that. The thing though with this watch is that you can't find it that easily , especially in online stores.
btw you can find it on ebay i think for around 1600$ or sm like that ... but i wouldn't buy from a non authorized dealer ... peace of mind when it comes to watches is really important to me :)
Another overpriced watch from an overpriced brand. Just put it next to a watch like Mido all dial diver, or mido oceanstar diver and then ask for your money back...
This watch is my favourite, thx for your detailed review, do you have any information about the movement, is this ETA 2824, modified or is it simply a base Eta movement.
big enough to be able to pull a 44mm Pam ;) I know i've measured it in the past but ain't so sure on how big it was... i'm pretty sure though that it was around 18cm or sm like that :)

Sweet mate ;) The date complication has never been a must have for me on my diver watches. Having said that it can be quite useful in everyday living! I'm pretty sure you'll be extremely happy with it. If you get the time to post a video of it make sure to give me the heads up :)

Even your no date one has the date,just the dial is different !! that is just crazy !!
Just do this test : move the crown manually until midnight and put the watch near your hear....
