k if anything this is definately hip hop...but...yea reggaetaon see the idea is NOT to dress it up this way. Like when you go to a show (jowell y randy!!love em!!) & they grab girls from the audience to dance, it doesnt look like this. at all. the idea is perreo..the girl seduces the guy with her EXTREMELY sexual movements, he gets behind her and...doggystyle. the style of dance actually comes from jamaican dancehall. it didnt develop the way other forms of latin dance did. matter of fact yea...

this is not reggaeton. and b4 yall attack me, im a puerto rican woman. no1 wants to degrade women-the point is you have to stay true to the essence of the genre of music. Reggaeton's trademark violence and sexuality were INTENDED to shock people. If you listen to the LYRICS of 80% of songs, they're like "te voy a dar duro, te voy a dar bicho, agarrame esto aqui, vamo a fumar vamo a jendernos" None of it is PG, none of it is classy. There's a time for classy (salsa, samba) & a time for reggaeton

I see comments like "just b/c she's not bein sexual." i'm sorry, but reggaeton is sexual. it's supposed to resemble sex. it wasn't born in a dance studio with choreographers. it was born in the hood/caserio/barrio, en los partys de marquesina. DJ Playero, Vico C, Eddie Dee, Plan B these were the artists who established the genre. Plan B just released "mis canciones hablan de sexo" = my songs are about sex. If some people find that offensive or whatever, there are other genres....
