  • What a resilient young man. We as adults can learn so much from children. Your son is truly a blessing from God.

  • he is sooo strong

  • Powerful video, gave me goosebumps just listening to his story. I truly believe he is a bright young man that will overcome ANY obstacle in front of him. He has the two of you to thank for that. Keep up the great work.

  • Gorgeous eyes..

  • This video brought tears to my eyes..my sibling has the disease very badly and when she is in pain it hurts me to see her suffer, it also hurts me to see my mom feeling sorry that she brought this upon her...she just spent 2 months in the hospital with the most excruciating pain that she has had in her 21 years on this earth, only to be sent home cause the hospital really couldnt do anything more for her...This touches me alot that i am crying as i type

  • OMG! This is so I touching. My 10 year old brother and I both have Sickle Cell Anemia SS. I am 24 and we both have had complications over the years but it has only made us stronger. I take my hats off to you guys for being caring parents because the support means alot thru difficult. Ppl say we can'y do this are that but I'm a LPN in the state of NC & working full-time at a community health center and going back to school in May for my RN.I want to make SCD known more than what it is and educate

  • @freakynik2005 Our people and the world need you to get that degree. Do it! :-)

  • Omg such a touching video! I pray God be with you all forever and ever!

  • Aww I love him!

  • My son's 14 y/o at the time of this post btw. :-)...He's just a wonderful young man. {Not perfect but wonderful none the less}...He does have struggles w/bullies @ times & thats what makes it hard for him & he doesnt always know how 2 handle it & sometimes lashes out improperly but he is still so strong. We are both still learning together how to deal with the bullies..Now that he is in high school & his school is closer..We both can "fight" the bullies better. {not literally of course}

  • Such an intelligent & sweet young man. He loves y'all I can tell. He began crying when Mom began crying. I love him. I hate to see that he has to go through this. My son has MILD Cerebral Paulsy & there are times its hard for him & his legs hurt, but he is so strong & handles it so well. I guess because we don't make him feel like he can't. He also has hydrocephalus {born with fluid around his brain that was drained when he was a little over 1 y/o}.

  • That boy is so handsom, and the way he speaks, and his explanation of sickel cell much have your heart bursting with pride.

    I am so sorry that he has to go through this.

    Please give him a big hug for me. I would go over to his page and give him a hand shake but he's right. No face, no note. Not with kids. So please pass on my best to him.

  • His eyes are so beautiful....have you heard of Dr. Sebi? You should look him up they have some of his lectures here on youtube

  • It's great that he's so knowledgeable about his condition. I've worked with a lot of patients who suffered with the disease as well. Recently there have been great results with patients receiving chem and then receiving stem cells. I completed a walk for the Lymphoma foundation and we were able to register for the Bone Marrow Registry because there is such a shortage of African Americans on the list. So far the stem cells have shown the best results. A hematologist I work with mentioned a theor

Every dis ease can be cured there are herbs and bitters that can be taken to purify the blood and cleanse the bood. Also a change of dietary lifestyle preferably raw foods his condition could be cured in less than three months look into that family. Hotep.
