  • I just love how products in commercials can somehow instantly solve all of life's problems! "Mom! My friend slipped me some LSD at the party tonight and I'm having a bad trip!" "Well, looks like you could use some COUNTRY TIME LEMONADE."

  • We have lemonade stands once in a while and I wanted to know if you could look up my page

  • what ar you talking abowt? contr time is dryd up lemon powder. It's not d surcrose! its helthy four you.

  • @Hayeshacker0NE With your grammar, i believe it is healthy for you.

  • Oh, this brings me back memories, especially the jingle and the catch phrase "tastes like good ol' fashioned lemonade, not too tart, not too sweet".

  • Does anyone remember that episode of "The Simpsons" when Martin hemmed up a little Shelbyville child to a tree, and the little child explained to Martin: "This is Country Time lemonade mix. There's never been anything close to a lemon in it--I swear!"

    ROTFLMAO!!!

  • get that weak shit outta here

  • Some of you people and your disgusting comments. People sure grew to be scum. They turn everything nice into something crude. Sure was better in the past.

  • I like the part where the grandma comes out with the tapwater that she poured dishwashing liquid into on the nice tray and served it like it was a beverage.

  • @pardyhardly country time is fucking delicious

  • Alright, Wookie, now I have to subscribe to you! These 1978 commercials just re-opened a vast corner of my mind! Thank you!

  • I always thought it was weird that Mom brought the Country Time canister out along with the lemonade.

  • I want that singer at the end to do my eulogy.

  • no plates no insurance, a simpler time when lemonade was squeezed from real lemons. its like granma used to make... if your granma is a 10 thousand pound machine that mixed sugar malto dextrinmagnesium dioxide calcium fumarate tocopherol etc.

  • Corny commercial but charming.

  • Does'nt it seem just a little unfair that the boy was so frustrated about getting the motorcycle to work, and when it finally did his little sister got to ride it?

  • I was drinking some lemonade a few moments ago when the Country time lemonade song came to my head and I started singing it. weird.

  • Grampa played the judge in Bewitched for part 1&2 of the BEN FRANKLIN episodes.

  • As a matter of trivia, the prosecuting attorney in the same episodes was played by Mike Road, the voice of Race Bannon on The Adventures of Jonny Quest!

  • Grandpa needs to get his hand caught in a lawnmower...kool aid lemonade rules

  • thanks!!!! Goes to show whom works good together.

  • The powder was 'perfectly' too tart. Just the way I liked it, lol. Loved that commercial back then.

  • I liked country time lemonade!

  • "Country Time Lemonade-flavored Drink Mix", just how any teenage boy would refer to it. ;)

I just found out on IMDB that longtime character actor Harry Holcombe played grandpa in these commercials. I remember him well from Leave It to Beaver (as Whitey Whitney's dad) and several other 60s sitcoms.

  • Haha, that stuff is so unhealthy. Look at the ingredients. Less than 2% natural flavour. Corn syrup, yellow dye, preservatives... Btw, this commercial cost 4 billion dollars to make in 1978.

  • Dunno about you, but even though I love this commercial, it's still weird to have a commercial for lemonade with a "WC" in the corner.

  • Country Time Lemonade!!! I miss that Lemonade flavor!! It's been 11 years since I haven't had a glass of Country Time Lemonade. I wish it could be found in French Supermarket Shelves. Living France is not easy at all.

  • Sorry to hear you live in France. Hope you can get out soon.

  • @czam73 Isn't there a way to order it online?

  • I don't know why, or why it popped into my head, but I never forgot the countrytime commercial.

Damn stuff was WAYYY to sweet.

  • Lemonade with no lemons in it. How do they do it.

  • Country Time Lemonade: The No-Lemon lemonade. Goes perfect with No-Dinner dinners. LOL

  • "settle down now boy and have a DANG glass of lemonaid"

  • My dad was obsessed with Country Time Lemonade in the 70's.

  • Ha! I remember those commercials!

  • a good old fashioned commercial

  • I miss the old fashioned country jingles

  • These are the great ones I remember as a kid. Gives me chills to see them again. Thanks for posting !

  • me too..btw happy easter!

  • Can anyone find the countrytime lemonade later on with a song and someone on a swing?--can't find that version

  • Country Time lemonade flavored drink mix! Tastes like good old-fashioned lemonade.

    That wouldn't sell today.

  • The product is still on the shelves, but I don't think they bother with commercials any longer.

IMO Country Time always tasted a little weak - I preferred Kool-Aid lemonade.

  • I love lemonade.

  • Not too tart, not too sweet...takes like good-old-fashioned lemonade!

  • When I was a kid, we used to joke about how the "Country Time Grandpa" used to pee in the lemondade, which was why he laughed & smiled so much when his grandkids whined, "Grandpa, I'm hot & thirsty!".

  • Jpowell180 me and my sister did the same thing lol.

  • I find that even funnier than the commercial.

  • Mmmm! Citric acid and surcrose! Just like Gramma made during the depression!

  • @sparkles13 You sound like you have scurvy. lol
