guys its easy to kil carol wait for her to go alsleep use a steath boy make sure oyur hidden hit the talk botton so she wakes up before she talks hit her with the bat alot she will probaly die in one hit cuz you use steath. yuo can get a steath boy from vault 101 durign the mission trouble on the homefront

@cheezybeenz123 you know if dogmeat dies. then use the console ~ ` on us keyboards. on european keyboards its § the button right under esc or besides the button 1. when the console is up click on dogmeats corpse and when it says "dogmeat" up in the top of your screen you type "resurrect"

i am so angry at this game right now. i told Charon too wait in Rivet city then i done the "waters of life" mission now he isnt where i left him. i checked back in underworld where i got him he isn't there. he isn't at vault 101, and he isnt at my megaton house. Anyone got any helpfull advice?

@darkpassenger09 i also lost my two followers that way i told my robot and my dog to stay at my house and i went to do a mission and they disappeared i need to pad lock the door of my house apparently. but did it give u a message when u found out they were gone or went to get another follower because it gave me a message for my robots location but i have no clue so yeah we fucked man

Nah it didn't tell me anything he just doesnt show up anywhere, i wasn't able to aquire the brotherhood follower. BUT i was still able to get Fawkes and Dogmeat so im happy now haha. that's 2 times iv played through the story and had Charon run off, the first time he just showed up randimly but now he's gone forever.

Hell no!

Dogmeat is a complete IDIOT. If he is not lost somewhere, he is stuck between a rock and the wall. He jumps in to attack when you are sneaking, and he gets killed quite easily.

Seriosly. The only fun I had with that dog was hitting it in the face with a hammer. Other than that, it's pretty useless.

LOL personally I prefer fawkes unlike most of the followers he actually is pretty hard to kill and can take at is it 3 deathclaws at once..charon he runs around with that shotgun but get mauled easily against the harder things in the wastes :P plus his voice really annoys me o.o :D

You can kill the two ladies as they sleep. But then you have to kill all the witnesses in the room too. Don't let anyone escape. I placed mines everywhere before I killed the ladies, then had the mini gun handy for the rest. Then you can walk over and talk to ahzrukhal and he'll give you the papers.

Feral ghouls are ghouls whose "ghoul" gene was good enough to make them ALIVE even after extreme amounts of radiation, but not good enough no make their brain not rot.

Basically, they are braindead ghouls.

BTW there IS a good mod for ghouldom in F3, my character is a ghoul, it raises some of your stats much + immunity to radiation, but also very much lowers your charisma. My character is uglier than even a feral ghoul, but it doesn't matter in Tesla armor :D.

Ghouls are actually superior to ordinary humans in the fallout universe; they are immune to radiation, they live very long.

The only downside is their fugliness.

And the reaction by humans to it.

Actually they probably don't smell as bad as corpses - only their skin has necrotized, their flesh and organs is normal, that is why ghouls still need water food and a doctor when they are ill. And why they can get high.

A nice twist on zombie they are actually fully alive, they just LOOK zombielike.

Underworld..actually for me the least depressing place in the game. Megaton = like slums in Somalia, Rivet City - high tech junk.

And Ghouls do look like zombies but they are really just necrotic posthumans = humans who had a certain gene activated that makes them immune to radiation, ghouls actually enjoy radiation and it heals them, the zombie appearance is because their skin necrotized. They are fully alive, just their skin has falled off.

And they live very long. A blessed with suck.

i have spent 3 1/2 hours trying to get to the museum of history, and cannot get to it. i want charon as a follower, have the caps, but i cant get to the underworld! there is way too much rubble. i have been through at LEAST 20 metro stations on the way. i needz help!!!

you need to get to teh washington monument, using the GNR quest to put up the sattelite dish. that takes you to teh monument, and the museum is right next to teh monument.

its not difficult to find if you have that quest. but if you dont, its hard cos you have to go through the metro tunnels, which are very large and expansive.

so just follow the story, until you get to the GNR building, and the DJ gives you the quest to help with the transmitter, which takes you right there.

Charon is one of the many followers. Search the Scrapyard for Dogmeat, get under neutral karma nd go to uhh that mean guy in Megaton I forgot.. there are many more.
