  • Dose he really play piano? I feel stupid asking that! ;)

  • Worst ad ever, we're not fucking Detroit. Glad it's dead.

  • @potsos i like how the best hockey players in the world still have a sense of humor but you don't?

  • Love this video

  • This is incredibly cheesy and really makes our organization look pathetic. I mean, it *IS* pathetic, but why make it look worse than it is?

  • At least they didn't make them sing

  • My god I love this. The blues using a detroit song... maybe wishing they were half as good :) hahaha. I love my wings but now that the blues have cheechoo... oh buddy.

  • @menoseloso Wait... isn't the city boy from South Detroit taking a midnight train ANYWHERE? Like... ANYWHERE ELSE. Like, said city boy thinks to himself, "Fuck, I live in Detroit, I need to get on the next train that is going ANYWHERE else. I'm really not to picky. Next train, any destination. Anywhere but Detroit."

  • @lightbulbsun43

Wait... A St. Louis fan talking shit about cities?

I mean I know your hockey team sucks bad enough that you can't talk shit about sports, but cities? No ammo there either bro.

  • @ROCKETS2965 They can when the target is Detroit. America's armpit.

  • @potsos

Sorry, it's shitty city of America 1A picking on shitty city of America 1B.

  • I don't mind it too much. The song is overused, though. Rumor is that Bergy actually was playing that song, so maybe that was the easiest song to play. Nonetheless, I would have expected something more original, like in previous years.

The theme is okay, but it doesn't blow me away or anything.

  • I can't wait to hear at least 15,000 yell "Fuck Detroit!" at the same time. The marketing team asked for it though.

  • whos the guy at the end tht takes berglunds place

  • Should of went with "Still Bleeding Blue" for the slogan instead of a lyric from a song Detoliet fans sing.

  • Hold everything change song with a more metal song like Gears of War by Megadeth!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • They need to bring back tacos.

  • Bleed Blue was the best Slogan to date, hell I still tell people I Bleed Blue and they don't have a clue what I'm talking about anymore...

  • If we complain about this enough, hopefully marketing will ditch this song and motto before opening night. Even if the song didn't exist, I'd still hate the slogan because it pegs the Blues as the underdogs. We're not the fucking Oilers or the Panthers. We're a team that should be able to compete all year long and make the playoffs. If you want to call us underdogs, do it after we make the playoffs, but don't do it before the preseason even starts.

  • @ToTheConquered dude...the Blues haven't been relevant since Pronger was your captain. This ad campaign fits.

  • @RHX1989 Thanks for sharing your opinion. I feel differently.

  • @ToTheConquered I'm not trying to hate, I just don't think there is a better song out there for this team right now. They've been a basement dweller for awhile and I think finally they have a chance to break into the top 8 in the conference. I'd still say that league consensus has them as a playoff under-dog. Personally, I'm a Flyers fan. But I always liked the Blues and I hope they do make it. It's just they'll be doing so as an underdog.

  • @RHX1989 They haven't been basement dwellers. They've been finishing right around the cusp of the playoffs for the past 5 years. We only finished last the year after the lockout. This is a good song for Ottawa, Edmonton, Colorado, or Florida. These are the kinds of commercials teams use when their fans have given up; we sold out every game last year and probably will this year, too, no cheesy ad campaigns needed.

  • @ToTheConquered i like the song but were obviously not underdogs considering our place in the standings...and if u see my pic u see that I bleed blue...LETS GO BLUESS

  • Horrible. Not only is it insulting to fans after we put up with the post-lockout debacle to be patronized with "don't stop believing" but it also demonstrates that whoever came up with this campaign couldn't be bothered to research (hell even google) the song's background. But that's what you get from such a lazy PR team that would prefer to lift lyrics from a song instead of using their 2 neurons to produce an original, or dare I say sincere slogan. What is the PR team trying to fail upward?

  • Haha orgasm @:15

  • Who approved this campaign?? Epic fail

  • THIS CAN'T BE OUR SONG! ONE OF THE LYRICS TO THE SONG IS "BORN AND RAISED IN SOUTH DETROIT" NO NO NO NO BLUES NO! PLEASE DO NOT COME OUT TO THIS, THIS SEASON! BUT ANY ANYWAY LET'S GO BLUES!!!!

  • they should use guile's theme music.

  • Absolutely horrible slogan.

  • I really hope they don't play that song when the Redwings are in town. Last thing we need is a bunch of Detroit losers singing along. Go Blues and Ruck the Fedwings!

  • "born in south detroit!"

    fuck detroit and fuck journey

  • What an embarrassment.

  • lol, what's up most overused song of all time?

  • It's not so bad. But I was expected to hear the "Don't stop believing" line, not just the music that obvioulsly Berglund don't play...

  • I don't like the slogan. Whatever happened to "Bleed Blue?"

Oh well. I still can't wait for hockey season. Let's go Blues!!!

  • I don't like the slogan. Whatever happened to "Bleed Blue?"

Oh well. I still can't wait for hockey season. Let's go Blues!!!

  • I get a feeling he's not actually playing the piano.

  • @TenzoRH2 I hate the slogan. It's cheesy, cheap, and unoriginal. It just makes me think of Detoilet singing after they scored yet again.

  • cant wait till october. go blues!!!!!!!
