    People not having jobs? Check. Most of the people in my social network have been fired recently.

    People living in the streets? Go to Washington D.C., or downtown Los Angeles. Check.

    Also, being patriotic does not mean loving your president, it means loving your country, AND THAT IS NOT THE SAME. If it were, then this would be a dictatorship.
