@coringa2x2 It's probably due to the intensity of the training. For example, the Russians would KILL people during training regularly because they would push them. That's not really the way in America. They push them, but not past the danger threshold.

It's a philosophy. Some people think it's good to preserve training so you aren't ruining your soldiers early, others think it's not tough enough.
