theres a fairly new video out of andy doing this tune, and i was finally able to figure out the voicing at 1:06 from watching it. it's like an A major add 9, with the A on the 4th string, the C# on the 3rd, the E one the 2nd, and the B on the 1st. The E moves to a D# on the chord change.
sounds like nice tone , but bad quality:( oh wlel, that's youtube. Btw, I just got a lonestar special 30w class A today, and it seems like its bassy and it doesn't get half as nice as tone as you got, and its got alot more gain then what yours has or something, and it seems to be really bassy, maybe i haven't dialed anything in right hehe.. Maybe you can help me out a bit ?;)
On the clean channel the bass is at 9-11 o´clock in most of my settings and the gain is at 11-12. The channel-volume should be at 10-11 and the loop level (back) is at 1 o'clock. The boogies have their eq in the first stages of the preamp so they are more sensitive than say a Marshall that have there eq almost last in their stages. You need to mess with the eq a couple of days get the hang of it. Good luck!
Ahh ok, thanks alot. One last thing, is the lonestar special as good as your classic? and also could it be my guitar( ibanez rg1570) and tone zone / air norton pickups too big for the amp?
The special has the same preamp but with el84 instead of 6L6 in the power section. Basically it has less headroom, so it "gives" sooner than mine. I actually have mine setup with tweed and halfpower so the headroom is just like yours :-). My white guitar has Tone zone and you can hear how that sounds in my other vids. I use the volume on the guitar a lot, it as a treble bleed circuit, so it cleans up without getting muddy. Maybe something for you?

No problem,
