hey im trying to upgrade my acclaim to 2.2 yet when i get to the step where you have to plug the phone into the computer it wont detect my phone. i was wondering if anyone knew what the problem may be.
@PankyBoiTell3m unfortunately they do not have live wallpapers im not sure why but its to aid in battery life is why they left it out of the samsung acclaim update.

If you feel like you may screw it up, wait to bring it into the store to have a technician do it. It is a pretty simple process but better safe than sorry right?
@malik32500 If you are referring to getting Android 2.2 for the samsung acclaim go to the US Cellular web address and the download will be toward the bottom of the page in the support pages under "Software Update". BE SURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS EXTREMELY CAREFULLY AS YOU CAN RUIN THE PHONE IF UPDATE IS DONE INCORRECTLY there is a How-to guide at the bottom of that page as well

No I got the 2.2 download from samsungs website. I could not download adobe. it said software did not support it. Called samsung and they said the release was for the UK not the US that it has not realeased for us yet. the download works on my phone though still no flash support

No I got the 2.2 download from samsungs website. I could not download adobe. it said software did not support it. Called samsung and they said the release was for the UK not the US that it has not realeased for us yet. the download works on my phone though still no flash support
