  • @Ella73TV Thank you for the advice, that really help!

  • Hi, i really want to take a train (Vlocity) to Geelong, which class do you suggest me to take? i've read some articles that Vlocity is only for economic class.. and what about the time, i plan to take the intercity, which depart 07.15 from southern cross station.. thanks for your advice.

  • @azwibowo

The Vlocity sets only have economy class seating, the "Inter City" and some other loco hauled services have first class seating. First class gives you more space (2+2 seating versus 2+3 in economy, and more legroom in first class too) but naturally that luxury costs more. The morning train to Geelong won't be too crowded, so it's a good one to consider even for economy class.

The Vlocity can go faster than a loco hauled train, but usually makes more stops along the way.

  • Really great video! Thank you for sharing!

How this train are managed at 0:55? With petrol?

Are there 3 kind passenger train in Australia?

    Greetings from Azerbaijan!

    P.S. Sorry for my english.

  • @SAMIRKA85

All the trains shown in this movie run on diesel fuel.

There are many more types of passenger trains in Australia, search my channel and you'll see different types of diesel passenger trains and railcars, and also lots of suburban electric trains.

  • @PoathTV Thank you for wide reply. I have looked threw a long time your channel. Great channel.

  • @SAMIRKA85 the best train is the bombarder (the second train) i catch these trains every day, and that one is the fastest :)

  • @elifraser Yes, I liked it. Very nice train, also very fast.

Our trains were manufactured in Soviet period. And those trains still are used. I would like to import new trains to Azerbaijan like the bombardier.

    Greetings from Baku.

    P.S. Sorry for my english.

  • Your videos are great! I notice this line is not dual gauged. Do they run freight on this line? which are the Vlocity railcars and which are the Sprinter railcars?

  • @manthony1956

The passenger trains are all running on the two broad gauge lines, there is a third line for the standard guage. There are some broad gauge freight trains (including cement, gravel, grain, & shipping containers) to destinations in Victoria. The standard gauge line is the interstate route to Adelaide and Perth used by freight and The Overland passenger service.

A Vlocity is seen at 0:55 in the movie, Sprinters at 6:56.

  • What speeds do they do in Victoria?

  • @Jeansieguy

The Vlocity railcars can do 160km/h, Sprinter railcars 130km/h, and the loco hauled sets 120km/h.
