I want to see a Star Trek spinoff series about Data's time in Starfleet academy the tragedy is Brent is now getting too old to do it. Though if Brent was involved in the show in a very significant role, perhaps a teacher at the academy who has a special relationship with Data. I can just imagine an actor doing the "Johnny Depp Edward Scissorhands" Routine playing a "young" data. Getting into adventures. I wouldn't even mind some things being rewritten from TNG canon for data to experience early.

@TheToddy30 Season 1 episode called Home Soil. It's every bit as awesome as you'd expect. The door seals itself then explosions and lasers are heard. Geordie is outside freaking out shouting "Data!" and Data is diving about like Spiderman. At one point Picard asks him what is going on but because Data is using his full processing power to anticipate and dodge the "sentient" laser beams he just says "Too much to explain" while diving about. After a few moments, Data emerges unscathed.
