I remember being at Ibrox that day Rangers v Motherwell, when the stadium announcer said " Here is the half time score from Hampden,Celtic 0 Partick Thistle 4"

The place erupted but I think more in disbelief than anything else.

I'm from Maryhill, Dad a Bluenose, Mother a Tim, so I had an affinity with the Jags as I was always getting sent there to keep the peace.

On this day I was playing football for the BB, and at half -time we asked what the score was.

When someone said 4-0 we didn't even ask who for!!
