  • I didn't know that Quine was still playing with him in 85, I thought he quit after the 84 tour. I you sure this wasn't 83?

  • Came back for the money, but didn't get on with that band (Saunders apart) - he didn't play on New Sensations and was, according to him, effectively mixed off Legendary Hearts.

    Yes. I have been listening to this album a lot recently and though I don't think he was totally mixed off of Legendary hearts, his presence is nowhere near as prominent as it was on Blue Mask. Also around this time Lou had gained confidence in his own guitar ability and was playing lead.

    Mike Rathke and Lou's Berlin live tour with Steve Hunter aside, I see Quine as the last lead guitarist Lou employed on record and a damn fine one at that.
