I too have the Acer H233H and for the Xbox 360 it was great. I have a PS3 now, and the games at 720p look absolutely horrible. Believe me, I am picky when it comes to graphics, and it looks very bad. I think all who own a PS3 should get an HDTV instead of a PC monitor. I think the only reason my Xbox 360 looked so good on the PC monitor is because, well, it's Microsoft after all.

hwy i have Samsung 24' and i use the VGA Cable. and HDTV - Widescreen settings on my Wii, and i managed to get all the borders nicely lined up.

1) picture is not crystal clear and is a little bit blurry

2) graphics in games is poor (Jagged edges in all games)

3) Screen flickers from time to time (go to black screen for 1-2 secs and comes back)

Any idea ?

I play wii with dolphin (emulator), nicer resolution and less garbage on the table. It just need some improvements. Also, most of monitors smaller than 32" have very bad viewing angles. Perfect pc monitors cost the same price as a 32 or 42" 1080p. So the best is to buy a cheap monitor or to go with a 32/42" and a large table.

If you have this exact monitor, you don't need the VDigi cable (it's for the Wii only). All you need is one HDMI cable since it does both video and audio. Good luck!

IF you have a more Recent xbox 360 it will have an HIDMI output on the back. The monitor comes with an HDMI cable so you'll be able to plug it up with that. If not you'll need an Xbox to VGA converter which is a third party cable.

No you can play all games. If you get a LCD monitor that only supports 720p the games that are supposed to be displayed in 1080p will just be displayed in 720p. I still have a standard definition TV and all games works fine.

As far as the PS3 goes, 1080p is just good for Bluray, a few PS3 games, the PS3 Menu/Store and that's basically it ;p

...BUT,Too bad 720p games(which ARE like 95% of PS3 games) dont look as good, since they're 720p games being 'upscaled' to 1080p....Dead Space, Siren, batman ect all look blurrier/fuzzier and no where near as detailed/crystal clear like 1080p content is...the text especially looks slightly blown up, fuzzy and blurrier...I can only imagine how bad Wii games will look since they're 480p being upscaled to 1080p ;p....Anyways it's fun to play around with, but there's no way i'd game on an LCD.

Just got my 'HDMI to DVI-D' Cable in the Mail. I Hooked my PS3 up to my Samsung 23" 1080p LCD Monitor, and set it to HDMI and 1080p...And WOW, resolution wise it looks amazing and just crystal clear....Virtua Tennis 3 and WipeOut HD both looked fantastic since they are 1080p games...

And I'll be getting my Wii VGA cable in the mail pretty soon. The thing is though, since the Wii only does VGA, and the fact that my Monitor only has a DVI input, i had to buy a VGA to DVI-D Adapter..Hopefully that works. Cause i really want to see how Wii games look on my monitor in ProgressiveScan and Widescreen...Too bad the resolution itself will look, since 480p is going to be upscaled to 1080p.

Also, you should get a HDMI to DVI-D cable for your PS3 for your PC, much better than VGA

For my Wii and PS3, i use one of the latest Sony Wega Trinitron SDTV CRTs using component cables and it looks beautiful. When it comes to Color, Blacks and motion, CRT cant be beat..,then again, Panasonic and Samsungs 09' Plasmas can, except Motion-wise...

Cable comes with a VGA connector on one end and two jacks for audio (red & white). You plug that VGA connector into your monitor and the audio jacks into your sound system. On the other end is the Nintendo connector which goes into your Wii. Don't worry too much about it. They provide you with directions.

I have never experienced anything of that nature. You might want to check for some loose cables or perhaps your VGA/DVI cable needs to be replaced. You might want to also try it out on another computer to rule out a faulty video card.
