Lancers are light cars.In the 1.8L version u can get to 100 in just under 8 seconds if you shift properly.

What year? i got a Lancer HB GLXI 1993 (in trafic 1994) 1.6l 115hp. it's 1190kg if u Torture the car u go faster shit on as close to 7k rpm as u did on second to third gear, better 1/4mile time. but yes it's quiet good acceleration on thise cars and speed, easy beat a Golf Gti on the highway in both acc and speed (golf gti aprox same year modell)

I got this car aswell it is awesome! mine has gone 340.000 km so far and it still works great! mine is also still stock, and it can do this because its a mitsu! :) last time i won in a 1 km drag vs a Volvo 240 with a fat 2.3 liter engine and no the driver is not bad!

Yeah, it is possible. I have Lancer 1,6 glxi 1994 83kW and get 7 secs. Maybe it's because the weight is only 1000 kg

I have a glxi exactly like this one, and yes this is not a fake, it is pretty fast, but maximum is a little over 200 km per hour. Nice shots, finally someone who understands you have to put the camera fixed on the steering wheel going straight. 83 kw/ max torque at 5000 rpm passing 140 in 4th (at max torque) and 170 in 5th. Goes to about 6800 rev max

Got one of those myself, and an evo 2. The 1.6 really is that fast. You can actually rev a bit more than that too!

that car can reach in 2nd gear 100,

1=60

2=100

3=140+

4=200

5=240 but it can reach only 220-230 with the 1.6 motor.

driving the same car myself and a STOCK 1.6 83kw engine does not sound or rev like that!

And the best part is, as many has allready said, this car keeps on accelerating between gears, either it's a brand new way of driving (wich everyone in F1 should be doing even though they got überfast gearboxes) or it's just DOWNHILL!! Accelerating 5 km/h between 2'nd and 3'rd gear... that's BULLSHIT!

Car is probably stock, but he is going down a missive assed hill! car looks like its still accelerating why he is changing into second. I have the 1.8 version of the car (sold from new in australia with the 'GSR' engine without turbo) and my fastest 0-100 is 9.3. Can't figure out how u hit 100 in second, as mine will only do 85.
