outstanding arrangement...I just wish it was played on a nylon string. Steel string fingerpicking always sounds scratchy to me...even though the amount of tone control exhibited here is outstanding. I tried playing this on my nylon and it's difficult to finger the intro on the wider neck...but you've inspired me. Thanks!

What's the name of the painting behind him at the end? LOL Just kidding. I was amazed that he didn't even use a capo on this. He played in my city on a Taylor guitar clinic and I showed up not having heard of him and just sat there with my mouth open in amazement how well he played. does anyone have a vid of him doing 'Penny Lane' by the beatles? I couldn't believe he was playing all of the trumpet parts at the end along with the bass, vocals, harmony etc. and can't find it on Youtube.

I think it's good key for this type of tune. Dmaj or Bm (whatever you want to call it) is a very "warm" sounding key to my ears. This key allows him to use a bunch of open strings as well.

Mr. King is truely fine guitarist.

Anyone who is trying to learn how to be just as fine a guitarist, should make it a point to study, study, his style and technique, as much as possible. Even if you're a flat picker, you could stand to learn quite a bit.

I've been playing and teaching guitar for many years myself, but I use my time at youtube to study music from the many fine musicians here.
