Hi! thanx a ton, I have been able to share files b/w computers but still there is 1 system which I am unable to share- I tried disabling the firewall but stll it doesn't work.
@vohradental okay go to the puter that u would like to use the file from.
click star then select run. in the run windows type CMD CLICK ENTER
type IPCONFIG just remember the ip number it should loook like this 192.168.1.??? . go to your secand machine go to run then type \\ ip number for other computer\ the shared file name then click enter
@vohradental remember to share the file as shown in the video before yo connect to the other machine. let me know if this could help thx for ur comment.
@kaislavie - thanx for the tip but it still shows same- network path could not be found, except for 1 computer -I am able to share drives between all other computers but shared folder on this computer could not be connected. Any other suggestion will be welcomed.
when you get that message( it means one of the machines firewall is blocking you from accesing the machine) therefor you need to make a rule to the internetsecurity that you have to allow connection for local network or disable the firewall before you attempt to connect.
Thanks for sharing this with us. Your instruction is the most simple and effective among others. My only suggestion is for you to hold the camera a little more steady in the future. Keep up the good work!
I have just wasted four hours of my life trying to do this simple thing. All the so called experts on sites and even youtube videos just couldn t been able to explain or so say it in a manner that could work. That until i found your video, thanks a bunch, you really made my day.
I spent two days trying to figure out how to share a folder over our home LAN. I just couldn't figure it out. Eventually I found this tutorial and it explained everything perfectly. Thanks so much
