  • wat 2 min 100 us dollars?

  • @neromydog yep USD100 - but apparently you cannot do it anymore.

  • @durbanbay why?

  • @neromydog Don't know - my friend was there a few months ago and they said they couldn't do it anymore. Not sure why though.

  • Pathetic fallacy. Totally unneccessary.

  • @IllyBidol Sorry - don't understand what you mean to say.

  • This is cheap! for that price i would hug the panda so hard to worth it.

  • ha ha ha - i'm glad you think its cheap.

  • cute little guy

  • @joepescifromcasino Yes he was.

  • I got to get me some pandas.... start up an enterprise.

  • yeah - that might be tough since they are a protected species - also be tough to take care of - an not as cuddly as you think - ha ha - thanks for the comment.

  • Me to, it's good idea, but be ready for " Eating & Pooping Panda " & " お尻がかゆいパンダ " both can b watch on youtube (copy & paste). :)-)-)

  • I'm in !

  • @SmackuSer Cool but apparently this has been discontinued.

  • How do you go about doing this? I'm going to take one of those panda tours eventually. Maybe my guide will know. :/

  • You can touch an adult panda for 40$ already. I did this in Chengdu, and was allowed to stand behind the panda for a couple of minutes. The keeper suggested me to wear gloves, too. But i touched it without gloves, as well, what noone noticed. their fur is actually very coarse.

  • really. thats interesting. back in 2005 to hold the panda cost USD100 and we had to wear gloves and coats to prevent the transfer of pathogens from us to the Panda. Maybe the financial crisis has pushed their price down!

  • Holding the baby panda still costs 100$, but strangily, for the adult one we only had to pay 40$, it was a birthday present from my parents. I did not have to wear the coat, but they gave me gloves. Staff seemed not to be that strict about wearing the gloves, though. As I really wanted to touch the panda without gloves (otherwise it woldn`t have been really worth it) I simply did when no one noticed.

  • how??XD

  • A keeper said to the lady in red that don't touch the panda without gloves. I am so happy to hear it...

  • yes

  • @allplay111 LOl - I will look for it.

  • Wow! Thats alot of money . . . but the panda is so cute! I think it was worth every penny!

  • Yes. It was. They are cute. They also have red pandas there that you can hold for a lot cheaper. Anyway the experience was a great one. I hope we can go back to Chengdu soon.

  • i'm so jealous i want a panda...aww...

  • Yeah me too....except to hold the panda for three or four minutes cost US$100.

  • was it worth it though? i bet every second was worth every dollar.. im so jealous! if i had the money i'd go get me a hug!

  • Yes it was worth it. Save and go. Actually, I dont know about now but when we travelled China in 2005 it was really cheap.
