I am not confused. My mother is part Muscogee creek and very little black, my father is more black. I am proud of all that I am. I grew-up more Native American than black. my friends were Native some were black. It seems that if you are African American you cannot claim anything that your are except African. My mother went to Africa in the 1950's and lived their for seven years and the Africans did not except her as black although she thought whe would be excepted. Sad.
