great band saw them many times play in uk,manchester,bradford etc,great on tour with larm, heibel,so good ang tight very underated at time....face up to it was lost in mix when recorded....peel show sounded better at time,glad stuff gor re-released by bosstunage label etc.......still got split lp with concrete sox.....happy memories /days.:-)

This makes me pine for the days when, as a school boy in the late 80s, I'd listen to the John Peel Show because I knew there was a chance there'd be a session by Heresy, just as likely there'd be one by the Bhundu Boys. Heresy encapsulated everything that UK hardcore was - fast, heavy, aggressive and thoughtful. Its pretty much the best that we will ever produce, no disrespect to Ripcord, Concrete Sox, ENT, Electro Hippies etc, but Heresy had an attitude and skill that will never be equalled.

i saw Heresy quite a few times back when UK hardcore had exploded. Many times it was on the 10 band bills with line ups like Amebix,Antisect,Heresy,Napalm Death, Deviated Instinct,Axegrinder etc
