My old Dell Inspiron used to take 5 minutes to start up before, but that's because I had problems with the PC before, but other than that, it would take 2 minutes to start up so it's still a while to wait. Moving from a PC to a Mac was the best choice I've made as getting a new laptop is concerned.
Though a pc may not take 10 minutes to boot up, 5 minutes isn't completely out of the question. Any pc i've used, which is almost any computer i've ever touched, has taken a general 5 minutes to boot up and be in a ready to use status.
@grimer512345 what are you smoking? Every windows based computer I have had since 2007 has taken anywhere between 10 to 45 seconds. Even my old gateway from 2002 takes about a minute to load up.

Thanx for persuading your viewers about Macs. Once you go Mac, you can't go back to PC.
