I totally understand why you feel like you wanted to change the words...but man it takes away from the power of the original song. I think the original represents what a good marriage really is. What inspired you to re word this song? It's genius. When I first heard the original i was like wow if the wording was different it could be a worship song! and then I saw this and I was like NO WAY I loved it. What made you want to do this? How did the idea occur to you???

@hislovecaptivates thank you! sometimes a song will captivate me to the point where I can't get it out of my head until I do a cover of it and fully dissect it. When I made this video I was thinking about marriage, while I realize the original lyrics represent the majority of relationships out there, it wasn't what I wanted for my relationship with my future husband. If you put God as #1 there is no room for disappointment to enter a relationship. I'm now 6 months into a wonderful marriage :)

thank you! just plant your middle finger and ring finger on the same strings for the entire song...for the second chord you move your pinky to play the first string on the 11th fret...it's different than the piano bass note so it sounds a little different. Check 1:46 to see what I'm talking about...and it's the same chords through the whole song. I hope that makes sense....
