It was much wither when I got it then I left it on the stand in my livingroom and it quickly went more creemish, but its not nearly as yellow as my les paul custom white.
Sorry to hear that. If its an electronic fault its probably an Condencer that has dried out and that can be fixed by a repairman, but it can be expensive if its not one who knows exactly what to look for and use a long time to find the fault. It could also be something as simple as your guitar cables not being intact. Check your wires properly and se! Wiggle them.
thanks man ive been going crazy trying to find the awnser thanks i have a warranty so im just going to return my tonelab st thanks for telling me cause i wasent sure if it ws something wrong with the st or if it was something i was doing wrong
the only thing you can do wrong really is to use an unearthed cable so that there is sound but there will also be alot of noise and a weak signal, typically when using a balanced jack or an insercable. If you are using a standard 2pole cable, try anotherone, if it sounds the same, wank you your guitars pickup selector to make sure it hasn't corroded almost shut which is common. if all fails and the ST sounds veird you'll hear that best with the tuner/fx pedal pressed giving a clean sound.
I'm not going to take credit for the tone, its all VOX an d a great Ibanez. Since this I've learned to use it much better and I'm getting really useful sounds of it these days, I cant get the midi stiff to work which is a shame, but I din't expect to. be careful not to pull the powercord out while its on then, you want this thing to last 'cos its going to be a classic!
I'd say a con is that the finish gets damaged really easily. Other than that its the guitar that was good enough for Petrucci, then its good enough for the rest of us I'd dear say! I love it, its such great guitar for just doing big jobs with, I can get anything I like out of it.
Hey dude, where is that country you live in? South america??
For my metal sounds I dont use any presets, I start with a triple rectifier on the amp, set a slight compressor on the pedal, select the cab that sounds fattest with the combination of what guitar I may be using, maybe a short dry hall reverb to fatten it but no delay, then I output it to at least two amps so that I get some omph! What I am saying in short is that you should make you own and that less is more in metal,
What do you mean, if you're not getting picture you dont have the right plugins. If you cant watch my playing...I dont have the right plugins...use IE
I have a peavey triumph PAG 60, just getting retubed and repaired now, even with the 20 year old tubes in there it sounded excellent! Do you reckon it would beat a JCM800?
I dont think you should compare those two too much. They're pretty different even down to the speaker design. The overdrives are really different. You should have the tech mod it for you now though, just clip the eq disable wire, then you can use EQ on the distortion channels also- it makes it sound MUCH fatter.
They are great amps anyway, much clearer thatn a marshall has ever been. Ask me if you need the details for the mod. Ive done it, took 5 minutes and a clipper.
You can tweak the mid and bass on your tripumph? Then its allready modded because the Triumphs all came with only presence and High active when in crunch or ultra mode. Great for you, saves you that bit of work. I have four by the way, they are so cheap since peavy has a crap reputation here. People dont know what they are missing.
thanks for that man, you can tell I dont practice much these days, but I do make music with my band and it that that counts, I spent enough years in my bedroom eating scales

hi man, its good to find people who have the same guitar...
bought it 9 years ago when ibanez still produced it and played it ever since. I wonder why did they stop making it...
i love its sound and playability...
i would really like to hear some comments and opinions about this model like pro, cons, etc.
cheers!
