I no longer live in St. Louis, I miss the snow but I sure don't miss the ice. I once spinned around 360 degree in U-City what a blessing no other cars were near at that time- I'll never forget that! NO NO NO. God Bless You All. Drive Safe.
How long ago did you move out of St Louis? Unfortunately people tend to drive more crazy than safe... One snowstorm in January I think my dad and I almost got hit and some semi trucks were definately going way to fast in snow. But yeah, once you spin out you definately learn fast.
I moved away almost 2 and a half years ago but like Dorothy would say - there's no place home. I now live in Las Vegas (yes the hot Las Vegas) I moved here to care for my mom. We've had snow but it only sticks around for a couple hours but if I ever get real home sick for snow, we have Mt Charleston with elevation of over 11,000 ft it's close by and I can go there- it's only 35 miles away. Nice chatting with you, and again, drive safe.
@studyword .........yeah i used to live in STL too, and spinned my little geo-metro a few times, but i think thats why i have such a great reaction to avoid accidents, life experiences.....ah ah ah ah ah winter!!!!
Gosh, I don't know if I wanted to be reminded of that. That was a bad commute home and most of it was by bus. Pretty pictures, though. Here's hoping this November 30th and December 1st are better weather-wise.
