Speaking objectively, your time is best spent doing something you enjoy and is productive, and what is productive is an entirely subjective thing. After all, you probably made a good few people smile with this, which could very well be considered a worthwhile cause. It's up to yourself to decide if that is your idea of a worthwhile way to spend your time.
