  • that grass has a boner.

  • Looks like waving hair to me. >:(

  • no one seems to know the strand option. this makes the bottem thicker, making it more realistic. to do this, go to the material of the grass, scroll down to strand, and change the root value to like 3, the 'root' will now be thicker. also enable

    b-spline and strand render( under the render tab of the grass particle system), to make the grass smoother. also more particles or children would help

  • just create a particle system on a plane then change the settings to hair, then add an empty and make the z axis of the empty face the way you want the wind to blow, then go into the physics tab and change the fields to wind, then experiment with the settings. In this simulation, I used multiple empties in different directions

  • I did that one too, but somehow it's more like stiff hair, they're standing up too much for this length.. I wonder if it's possible to make the hair softer, more exposed to gravity... (I'm just a noob, but that occurred to me)

  • Well, I did not put the gravity force high enough so they stand up pretty high. I will change that in my next version of it.
