I saw a set of interviews the other morning with some of the protesters. The protesters didn't know jack about anyone in the government. Or any one they were protesting against. I have not been able to find that clip. Any help from anyone?
Actually, Fox has spent far more time on the Edwards non-story than the war in Georgia, or for that matter the war in Iraq. Not one hour can go by without at least a 10 minute report on Edwards.
The economy? Not a candle to a gossip story. Not at Fox.

So, admitting that a critic of FOX News got it wrong is tantamount to becoming a heretic to your "faith", and would be like "rendering to Caesar", and we can never, but never, do that.

I have a couple of issues with this, obviously. The major one is that you don't cite your source(s). Is it really so hard to have put a link to the TP article? We live in the age of the INTERNETS with URLS to make convenient the means of pointing things out, use them.
Another problem I have is it's not clear from the video whether this was done on the 9th or the 10th. Why is that? Because I look at the date of video and it states "Added: August 10, 2008." That could imply you took footage from FOX on this day; seriously, there aren't any dates on the footage or mentioned, so how are we supposed to know this is taking place on the day mentioned in the article August 9th.

How the hell are we supposed to evaluate less than two minutes worth of clips stacked against the amount of air time given to the Edwards scandal? All you've shown is that they did cover it, not that they covered it *more*, which the TP article points out.
Jarrett and Banderas didn't even come on the air on the 10th until 4:00 pm, which is long after the video was put up. Geez. Do you really think I'm going to put up video from some other day when anyone could check it and blow me out of the water? I don't operate that way, and I'm certainly not stupid enough to try even if I did.

The problem was that all the MSM including FOX portrayed Russia as the agressor. prime example of media bias in shielding Georgia from responsibility for the carnage is the fact that news outlets like the BBC continue to report that thousands of civilians were killed in Georgia, with the obvious inference being that these are victims of the Russian onslaught. But these victims were not killed in Georgia, they were killed in Ossetia - by Georgian forces. GET IT RIGHT Georgia attacked Russians.
What really matters is that 100% of Fox News coverage has been a LIE. They even took video of the Georgian military rocket barrage on the Ossetian capitol, killing 2,000 civilians, and claimed it was Russians bombing a military base. Who needs their coverage if it's just one-sided propaganda?
Better is question is why didn't Think Progress include the total time dedicated to each story? They made a charge and provided no evidence whatsoever to support it. They didn't even TELL anyone about all the war reports on Fox, let alone how much they ran. (In terms of minutes, the Georgian war was the most covered story during that Fox News program, though you'd never know it from Think Progress.)

Why do they lie is a very good question. That was Think Progress? I'll make some time to look into them. I never heard of them before but I'm guessing propaganda is in the vicinity

They didn't even TELL anyone about all the war reports on Fox, let alone how much they ran.
