Ok, seriously....He's NOT A HERMAPHRODITE!! Yes, Funimation made Frieza sound like an old woman who smoked too much in the old dub but in Kai you can CLEARLY tell that he's a guy...a feminine guy yes...but still clearly a guy..not to mention that in the Japanese versions of both the original AND kai, he ALSO has a guy voice..and on both of the anime and the manga, they refer to him as a guy MULTIPLE TIMES, how can you still think he's a hermaprodite when the evidence is RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU?

Like a male would say 'ore' (a masculine way of saying I.) where as a woman would say 'watashi' (The female way of saying I) He would use the female version, this wasn't seen as gay or hemophrodite-ish. It was seen as creepy and rude.

The uncut version of Kai on bluray is MUCH BETTER! it has blood and gore and so what if some of the voices are different? It's not DBZ. it's a different show & most of the new voices are actually good and Frieza doesnt sound like a woman :D Also,ima bigger fan of the manga than the original anime so i appreciate the dialogue being closer to the manga...

I do like LittleKuriboh's dub of Fireza as well.

And who cares if they call him a hermaphrodite. It might not be correct but that's just how most people who prefer funimation dub see him. I saw him as a Transgendered Alien when I first watched the show and I still do. And to me I always saw his father a Drag Queen.

Personally I think hes just really feminine. There's a lot of animes were guys act like girls, and girls act like guys. I don't think your theory is any less valid though. I used to think that Frieza was a hermaphrodite too. In a lot of literature with a hermaphrodite character the character chooses a gender they prefer to be called. It could be that Frieza is a hermaphrodite or even a women but prefers to called a man, and with hes power people are going to listen to him.
