  • Hi andhija,

thank for the upload of this leaf making "Little Giant" Machine.

    Take care.

    mrbluenun

  • the used - the bird and the worm playing in the background : D good song ahaha

  • that is very nice work and a perfectly designed leaf. should have a guard over the spring on that hammer though

  • The tradeskills are underrated and underappreciated.

Back in high school I signed up for a metal shop class, but it was canceled

because there weren't enough students interested.

    Public education is pathetic.

  • bad ass song in the back ground the bird and the worm by the used

  • Amy winehouse...:(

  • All that work and it ends in HOME DEPOT for $2.99. But you have good skill

  • thanks Guys...Great stuff and hammer/on

  • Chuck Norris stamps them out 10 a min. under his chin.

  • very neat video i really enjoyed it

  • hammer of god. LOL that thing is fucking powerful

  • I love this video ! It would take me all day to forge that big a leaf .I`d love to have a trip hammer

  • 4:30

looks like you cut it out on paint

  • so is this a decoration or what?

  • The video was originally posted to show the hammer that we were selling. I was making a decorative leaf. We include such forgings in railings, furniture and such.

  • HOW FUN IS THAT? I noticed at one point your hits were slowing down along with the music.

  • Now where on earth did you find that beast? I've been trying to find an affordable power hammer for ages now but it seems like I keep missing the older ones at sales, and the newer ones are pretty damn expensive.

Was kicking myself a few months back when I heard I missed an auction where they were going for thirty bucks apiece.

  • just beautiful loved ;;;;;

  • Hah! found it!

"The bird and the worm" by the used is the song that starts at 3:00 ish.

    No it wasn't easy, stfu.

  • wow whats the music in the background at about 3:50 ?

  • Very nice work. Thanks for posting the video.

  • Very nice.

I have a nice little 50lb Giant and it's in the process of being re-furbished. Looking forward to using it like you have here.

  • i can say one thing i wouldnt like my hand to be under that =/

  • Great demo thanks for posting it.

  • whats one of those hammer machines worth.

  • Thanks for posting this. You really ought to build a guard for the front of the hammer though. If the spring ever popped out it would remove a good portion of your head.

  • Well.....I have had three springs go while forging (different hammers). It is not the exciting explosive catastrophe that one envisions. It's more like it just stops working and makes thumpy noises. I have seen an OSHA approved hammer. They seem to outfit a hammer in the same way they label coffee. "Contents are hot"....duh.

  • Nice video... cool to see the leaf extra hot for making the final fluid organic tweaks.

  • I love blacksmithing!

  • So...I just watched this video and I have to say....I freakin love blacksmithing. I love the fact that steel moves so nicely and beautifully. What is cooler than smithing? OK maybe glassblowing but hey I can drop mine :)

  • i love it too. like the soundtrack as well. whats the first song dude?

  • Nice hammer, but if you want to get a really fine point on it, you need to start with the end of the bar just past the crown of the die. That will allow you to squeeze out the end and avoid "fish lips." ;) Nice litle leaf demo otherwise!
