The Palace was a great venue saw Machinehead / Fishbone / Buzzcocks / Kreator / FNM and countless others play there..it was a classic rock venue shame it burnt down..

My Brother had the privlledge of seeing these guys live at Festival hall in 1997. I'm excited as that they are back together again and I'm hoping they will come to Melbourne again.

Pitty it won't be at the Palace though. I saw Eagles of Death Metal there in 2007 one of the last acts to play there before it burnt down. Instead of rebuilding the palace they are going build another fucking shopping centre next to the Palais instead. THEY SHOULD REBUILD THE PALACE. I'd love to see FNM in Melbourne!
