  • Great vid ,just shows what these gentle giants are capable of .

Shame that these dogs sometimes end up with irresponsible owners and turn nasty .

  • dam thats a strong dog :D

  • that thing is a machine. if it was an engine, there was no rpm drop going up the hill!

  • The dog's posture carrying that log is amazing

  • 00:41, sounds like Richard nixon on futurama

  • holy shit if that dog say jump ill say how high

  • Hey, rottie :) I've got some wood to carry home...:)

  • That is one happy dog, doing something he clearly enjoys! Congrats to the owner for doing a great job, and thanks for sharing this video so we can all appreciate the strength, and enthusuasim found in this breed. Just awesome!

  • You have an amazing good looking dog! German shepherd and Rottweiler, my 2 favorite breeds!!!!

  • The best Rottweiler I have ever seen. It has got full of Beauty | Power & Soul...

    Wonderful DOG !!

    Congratulations.

  • Cool!

  • That is a happy sounding dog.

  • AWESOME!!!

  • que fantastico !!

  • moc krásnej pes :)

  • nice dog,,how old is the boy?

  • I enjoy watching this video, my girl rottie also likes to retrieve large branches, she'd drag a tree if she could hehe

  • Very impressive. Nice dog. His voice is so deep.

  • how I wanna hug that rotti

  • i have 2 rottweilers there so strong but there so cute as puppys i luv rotts

  • My previous male big rottie likes to roll, chase and tug on old spare tyre...love it when it swings from a tree branch, what a strength. My present rottie, a female is very vocal, especially if she is not getting the attention she wants, but not in an agressive way.....Treat them well and you can't ask for more from a dog.

  • i bet hes swearing at his owner for making him do that lol

  • amazing dog... so much fun having a rott

  • The day I have my own house..i am going to buy rottie..i love u !!!

  • That is what I loved about the rottys. The raw power!

  • no need to buy elephants for logging purposes when a rottweiler is cheaper.

  • Beautiful dog, but by God, I wouldn't fancy throwing a "stick" that big for my Rottie. Wish there were more videos promoting the the breed, cos they really are sweethearts.

  • lol at the mini bear

  • THIS IS THE TYPE OF DOG I NEED!

  • mans dog right there

  • omg :) way tooo cute

  • that man shouln't pet him and praise him when the dog is in that state of mind. the dog is being slightly aggressive excited and when it's praised then, it'll think it's being praised for being in that aggressive excited state.

  • Humbug, have you been watching Cesar Millan? We who know dogs, and rottweilers, can read this dog like an open book. There is not a bit aggression in a rottweiler barking and growling like that. Learn before you teach, please.

  • I totally agree with you , Most rottweilers ive seen are quite vocal including my female rottie who likes to growl when showing affection without any signs of aggression

  • The dog is just excited and expressing himself.

  • Big Dog, Geez

    Nice Work

  • my KIPPs too ,she is energyful rottweiler! but I am not sure she can do like this dog. :)

  • my mates labrador can lift those kind off weights too

  • my favorite rottweiler video!

  • Zajebisty piesek :) Ma moc :)

  • holy shit, i really dont want to get bitten by a rottie xD

  • My brother has a Deutsche Drahthaar...

Jaeger(I insist on spelling and pronouncing it Yogger) can do that...

He has also been bird hunting with My Bro and has brought back Canada Geese with no damage to the geese carcasses...

    Yogger's smart, too...

  • dude just say wirehaired pointer ¬¬

  • Why is that?

  • This is a working breed remember and they love to work!! This dog is having fun and his barking/reaction to his owner is out of excitement and lets keep it going!! Carrying heavy logs is not something he should do everyday as it can be to hard on his joints but certainly was not harmful that day.... That rottie had a blast!!

  • the dog is just saying comon! comon! lets keep going! lets gooooooo!!!!!!! give me something to do!!!!!!!!!!!! those "pats" the guy is giving him are just keeping his mood elevated and keeping him in a positive state of mind. he is a big powerful dog, he isnt going to act or sound like a little dog, lol. if he was mad he would eat this guy.

  • ye haahaha

  • I agree with Incipidone's comment about it was too much weight for the dog to handle. I dont agree with the 2 negative comments about he was abusing the dog, he was just giving him pats because he retreived the log. The dog isnt giving pissed off barks, hes communicating with his master!

  • Hes a big boy! As he gets older you might want to watch his back and joints because he can start to have problems from lifting so much weight. I am not trying to act like a know-it-all, its just that I had a rottie who's back developed a bad disc and we had to put her on meds the rest of her life and the meds ate her liver away and she died. He is a gorgeous rottie and I know you are proud! To the negative comments, he wasnt abusing the dog and the dog is barking and responding to him!

  • Those logs didn't seem very heavy to that Rottie, Iam sure that it could handle 50 to 70 kg weight if he can get grip of it. And of course they lift and carry the weight with the neck muscles mostly so if they must use their full body strenght it will be disaster! Dogs are strong if they want, we got alaskan husky female, and if she goes after for something I might be in trouble, and Iam robust guy myself.

  • dude you dont beat dogs thats wrong

  • hermosa raza de perros...la cago.waht is your country pavecz.hi from chili.

  • I remember this video...

I agree with you that it can carry weights up 35kgs.

That day i remember i was walking the elder Rottie and he saw a man with a stick. he hates the man.

And he pulled me forward...Lets face it that Rotties are strong. I tried to pull him back with all my strength but it won't work. Then my sister help to pulled him back. and finally he stop. He drag us for 100 hundred metres before he stops. And me and my sis total weight is about 110 kgs...

    So think about it...

  • damnn, looks like the dog is barkin at the handler.. not a very submissive happy look, more of a 'get ur fuckin hands off of me'

  • Yeah, looks more like a demanding bark than a friendly one. And the guy tapping it too cautiously. Those bastards need some handful *beating* , they like it (not this girly fingertip thing) :)

On the other hand I like the 'apporting' ability of that dog :)

  • f*ck me dead, this dog is a beast for f*ck sake.

Look at his neck. machine. one word machine. hectic hectic

  • Very clever & strong dog you have

  • fuck yeah. cool dog

  • that dog must at least weigh 110 pds

  • We had a male rottie and he was more like 200 something

  • thats too much for a dog, it will have joint problems

  • He was a monster, not fat. Ok maybe not 200, but 140+. The average for male rotties is like 100 to 130.

  • Strong dogs the dude allmost fell trynna run up the hill though lol.

  • Love the way this man treats his dog! the dog is happy pulling all that weight up hill, wagging its short tail!

Its seems to be a male(?), one of the more fiercefull ones but then again we see here,:

the rotts are what their owners tell them to be. This is a good example of what it can be :)

(i will have a rottweiler in some years and hope it will be as nice as this one).

    GrtZ, DD, Netherlands

  • omg this is a super dog. damn i want one. i hate my small appartment :(

  • dat is 4sure a solid lookin rotti..very tough..wat type of Rotti is dat???

  • it that a German rottweiler

  • it shows how strong rottweilers are

  • wow

  • that's so cool!

  • that is 1 strong fuckin dogg

  • awsum work! i love the way the handler will prasie the dog afterwards and the dog will sing and bark and wag his stubby tail. hilarious! just like my own rottie:)
