I have always tried to give good customer service, but sometimes the customer just wants something unrealistic.

I used to work at Subway, and people often wanted to combine discounts they weren't allowed to combine, I wasn't allowed to combine, and the computer didn't let you combine.

No matter how good your customer service skills are, there is no good way to explain to a customer that they cannot get what they want . . . which is what I had to do.

Working as a waiter in the summer, I learned that the best way to approach any situation with customers is to just smile and nod at everything they say. Works every time, especially when their angry they just think your crazy after awhile when you smile as they yell at you. BTW I am visiting Montreal right now!

Well i havent really worked with adults that much, my work was with kids, so there wasn't really much customer service but more looney insanity haha!

But i think i'm pretty good with customer service,I was always the one who customers came up to when i worked at a clothes store during college. They left with style i can say that much, not-so-nice customers ended up leaving not-so fashionable! lol :p
