  • all of that for 30-40 whp plus tune every season not worth it, 4k to 6k for the ITB's? dude turbo or super charge all the way, but if that's your thing then its all good might wanna sell your sound system or your radio cuz your not going to need it the sound of your engine is music to your ear...!!!!!

  • @s2Fast16 : agree about the selling the sound system, all-motor ITB'd cars sound way meaner than the whoosh of a turbo, even if they aren't as fast. (although, a screamer pipe on a rotary is just about the scariest thing i've ever heard)

  • @s2Fast16 Dude, I think u got it the other way around. the 4k to6k maintenance tuning is for force induction engine, especially the turbo charged. the ITB require a lot less maintenance in relative to force induction, n should be about the same as stock. plus the excessive noise is caused by lack of the filtered air box, which is almost required to prevent damage to engine.

  • It's not that much with just itb's, u need a really good tune to get more than 30-40hp out of just itb's, its worth it tho if u plan on investing alot in ur motor, I love my ap1 with itb :) :)

  • whats the Hp rating and what other parts are you running in conjunction with the ITBs (injectors and such)

  • Wow tuning is the ONLY way to gain anything from itb's especially on a S2000, with an extensive tune u MIGHT get 45-50hp out of it, and it costs 4-6k just for the itb, that's not including the tune

  • @davidzzz94 why would it give you better gas mileage? if anything you get worse. since the itbs are tuned to suck in more air; the car has to be tuned spit more fuel as well. air to fuel

  • @johntran what r u? retarded? its individual throttle bodies, just throttle bodies, noting forced induction? i only means quicker air flow to the engine, its even a warm air intake, thats good for gas mileage, so guess what? get ur facts straight before u use ur stupid air to fuel ratio which u probably dont even know that its 14.7 : 1, god ur so retarded

  • @davidzzz94 so tell me how cars are tuned to make more power? do you just think theyre fuckign around with numbers? tuning a car requires adjustments to a/f. so explain to me how an s can possilby make more power by adding on itbs? it comes from increased air and increased fuel, especially cause theres nothing restricting it, no manifolds and such to get in the way. even with ITB's tungin is required and A/f is important to make gains.

  • @davidzzz94 Well ITBs will get you worse mileage by far. The velocity of the air coming in through the trumpets, as well as the amount of air you pull in, is far greater than stock.

  • i do enjoy the sound of the opposed 4s in the Rexs, I totaly aree with you. I feel like making a movie and have every engine from 4-16 cylinders and pick a fav clip

  • remember the E30 M3 came from the factory with individual throttle bodies on its inline-4, so it is the O.G. of the "best sounding 4cyl" Look up clips from late 80s DTM and keyword "Alpha-N"

  • its cause he was gassing it then letting off and the vtec changes the rpm when it engages so it goes later if u have the gas less

  • PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.why don't they use filters??the amount of air that these cars consume should be filtered.Even tiny airborn particals over a length of time will cause power sapping damage.modern filter systems can filter and NOT reduce power at all..
