Mary was HUMAN, but Jesus is God the Son. Jesus is the Messiah, our Lord and Savior, NOT Mary. Christians, as in people who worship Christ, be they Catholic or Protestant, should NOT venerate saints and Mary to the level of Christ. Christians believe in, follow, and worship Christ. It is Jesus Christ who died for our sins, NOT Mary, Peter, or Paul, or anyone else. Christians are NOT children of Mary. Christians are adopted children of God the Father, and brothers and sisters in Christ, NOT Mary.

If this song was written and sung to venerate Mary as the virgin mother Jesus, then it becomes idolatry. Jesus is our Lord and Savior, NOT Mary. For example, in the previous post where Mary is referred to with a "Her" instead of "her". Nobody except God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit deserves our worship. Even something so small as capitalizing the article "her", except God Himself is considered idolatry.

This is so beautiful and prayerful. I listen to it daily, and it feels like a consecration to Mary to me. May our Holy Mother Mary draw all of her children to her.
