  • was this recorded with a tin can and piece of string?

  • Can hardly hear Page.. shit recording..nice try, guy.

  • This is the closest we will come to getting classic Zepp back. Although Steven Tyler as Front Man would be cool if they went back to their blues rock roots.

  • Nice video!

  • The best reunion show ever! One of the greatest evenings of my life!!

  • Poor Plant, getting to old to hit the right notes... still sounds good tho.

  • @MrSolution1996 Robert Said , '' I Don't Care What The People Say''

  • Jason sounds great but. What I always really liked in John Bonham's drumming is the enormous laid back groove regardless of the tempo. And I sort miss that here a bit...then again... I appreciate how difficult it must be having to live up to and always being compared to your famous dad...

  • @MrEmanuelw John Bonham made it all swing . It's a hard thing to learn if it's not there naturally . The man had soul

  • WTF do you expect from the guys, they were apart longer than they were a band together,Jimmy Page is now 70 or 71,lets see anyone else play like these guys at this stage of their game,Page is a miracle on 2 legs with the 2000.00$ a day heroin habit for over 20 years and still is one of the original richest musicians of all time(#3)this was about 5 years ago,so they did something rite,Robert still tours with a new album and JPJ has a new band with guys 1/2 his age,not to bad for senior citizens !

  • @cottonfever1221 Jimmy page is 67. Not taking anything away from him, still a legend :)

  • Jason is his own drummer but I still fell like he should be better(at least learn his daddy's lines better)as yes I can do better and have been playing a few years less than Jason, for not wanting to live in his father shadows he leaves himself open to criticism with these shows and sub-par playing

  • @cottonfever1221 just shut up . your coming off a little stupid

  • @Cincinnatus1869 Sorry bro,We all are'nt as cool as you,Jason Bonham said it himself"I drank more than I practiced, and I tried to follow my fathers footsteps to the pub insted of the woodshed to practice"(woodshed:to practice ones musical instrument).). He is now much better but I have seen him live right from backstage then and now and there is a huge diff.I am a drum tech and bass tech for a band that was touring with his band so I do have a little insight for my opinion. gimme a break

  • @cottonfever1221 No , you sure aren't as cool as me chump. . There are people with alot more clout than any 'drum tech ' for a band that call Jason and offer him good gigs . Your opinion doesnt mean shit to me , it carries no more weight than any kids who is hearing rock music for the first time , or anyone elses . His playing is highly regarded by people who actually play in real , established bands . The only thing that puts Jason in his fathers shadow is idiots like you talking shit .

  • @cottonfever1221 It's OK,thats why people like you make people like me look and sound all that much better, and if for one second think that Jason Bonham(he has gotten better since getting sober, his words not mine)sounds good at THIS point of his playing you are either fucking retarded or a piss poor musician and at this point in time I think its a bit of both, have a good day wanna be rock and roller. BTW: WHAT I FORGOT HOW TO PLAY IS MORE THAN YOU WILL EVER LEARN,take a seat Bozo!

  • It is a pity that the Plant's extraordinary voice is no longer so extraordinary well

  • Led Zeppelin remain the greatest rock band to ever set foot on a stage. No band before or since has even come close.

  • @tthoy1 i love zeppelin

but you wouldn't even consider Queen?

i think queen is up there with zeppelin

    at least on my list

  • @superluigi92 i think that led zeppelin is far more talented as musicly. although im not one to judge becuase i havent litent to queen all that much

  • @superluigi92 No Band even comes close to the Mighty Zep

  • @tthoy1 Amen bro

  • robert where are you? never mind alison krause or whatever her name is,

we are waiting for you guys in the states to come back and show everybody how it is done!

  • I guess singing lower pitches in a given tune is a crime in rock music...yep...it is a different place and a different time...yet there is no mistake that is Robert Plant singing HIS muiscal style he invented...this is a lot more than any of you hacks will ever do on your best day...

  • All you idiots! who say Robert can't sing! retards!! it's impossible to have the same voice!..& THE LAST THING you care about is how it sounds! i think if u ever saw Led Zepp live you can have a peaceful death!!

  • @ane34343 IF Zeppelin feat.Jason toured and just chose the right set list , Plant could still school every rock singr at 62 or whatever he is now .all the real Zep fans would be more than happy to see a Zep show covering songs from the second half of the bands career.Houses, PG ,Presence ,etc.I personally would rather hear them do that than to drag out the old radio standards. You know what I mean ?

  • you stupid kids, when your 60 years old your not gonna sing as you did when you were 20 its music, you enjoy it everything else sounds fine to me

  • peace...

  • i was just about to write a comment about how "unzeppelinlike" this is, but then i watched the video for a couple of seconds, and realised that both jimmy and robert are moving and acting the exactly same way they din 40 years ago! I mean, roberts voice is actually kinda crappy after years of high pitches together with drugs and alkohol, and neither john bonham or jones is there (jason bonham did a great job however), but you can still se the best band ever somewere with them...

  • @FenderMeddle94 Me thinks that is Jones playing that bass....

  • @trinzeon haha, that's right, my bad xD

  • @trinzeon tis

  • John Paul Jones is as an top of his game in this as he was in the 70s.

  • Robert Plant's abilities appear to have faded the most with age.

  • @ubernerd35 I disagree. He may not be the same as he was when he was young, but he is still an incredible artist and has recently produced some amazing stuff. He is timeless. This video is not a good example.

  • I think plant needs some psychedelics...just not the same. haha

  • robert plant!!!

  • damn, robert can't sing at all

  • @brunoharris95 Yes he can! You can see they're having sound problems.

  • Mi abuelo Jimmy sigue tocando la guitarra como Dios!

    LED ZEPPELIN!!!

  • Hey Snagg66 u freakin hit it right on the money! I totally agree.....to listen to the crap that's out there today makes my ears bleed!!! The is nothing like jammin to "Rock Gods"!

  • plant doesn't sound the same as he used to =(

  • The greatest rock band of all time. For anyone that doesn't get it, Listen to Led Zeppelin I . Realize that it was 1968. No one had ever sounded or done anything like that before. They changed music. Why would I ever listen to any of the no talent drivel that is out there today when I can listen to Gods.

  • @snag66 AMEN BROTHER !..THE HAMMER OF THE GODS WILL NEVER SEISE TO POUND AND THE SEAL OF ROCK THAT IS ZEPPELIN WILL NEVER BE BROKEN !

  • Bobbert? LOL

  • Wow, Bobbert here is still the most beautiful (sp?) sounding man I have ever heard...

  • zeppelin rocks forever

  • the following message is for :

    2007chessie

  • for a few seconds here and there u get a glimpse of what was

u guys shouldnt even mention other band names or their members on a LZ video.

No others even begin to compare

    its like anderson who?

    yes no?

    freddy what?

    not even close to Zeppelin.

  • Yeah but a damn sexy wrinkled prune!!!

  • Jason Bonham did a wicked job at this concert. He would have made his dad so proud.

  • @videocircus I think he made! (:

  • they arnt the same with out bonham

  • its so sad bonham died today 1980 and they broke up:(

  • when you said without bonham you jsut made me mad his son is his essance they should have brought the band back. go zep i wish they would tour plant so stubbern

  • If you feel that way then you don't understand this band at all.

They aren't another rock group that can just mix-match people, they were Jones, Bonham, Plant, and Page. It'll never be like it used to.

  • At least there's a hope that Jimmy Page will form a supergroup with Clapton.

  • Just a rumor. That's not happening.

  • they arent the same band without bonham

  • when is this gonna be on DVD ! comon zep

  • Right on! No one his age could sing what Plant sang in his prime. That includes any of the legends you can think of.

  • maybe freddy mercury

  • Maybe he could have, but sadly, now we'll never know how Freddy Mercury would have sounded at Plant's age. We definitely lost a great talent when Freddy passed away.

  • @whyitsfunny same could be said for Steve Marriott

  • I think you need to consider Jon Anderson of Yes! In recent years he sounds just as good as he did 40 years ago...and he had to sing MUCH higher vocal parts than Robert Plant.

  • WOW! Thanks for that heads up brother. As a huge YES fan I can't believe that didn't even cross my mind. And with both vocalists, I think it is the tone of the voice just as much as the pitch which makes/made their work unique and so damned enjoyable. I am going to go listen to Fragile right now! I honestly haven't heard Anderson's work lately, could you recommend some I might want to check out?

    Thanks for the comment.

    -Oggy

  • yeah but mccartney and daltrey (i think they're two of the best singers ever) didn't sing as high as Plant when they were young...

  • @bluetrova McCartney wasn't that great. You should mention Freddie Mercury and Ian Gilian too, I think.

  • @bluetrova You kidding? McCartney definitely did. I mean, I worship the man, but he definitely hit the high notes like a lady some times.

  • @FrancoissDillingerr definately not a lady my friend i think your deceiving yourself. i love mccartney like anybody else but just listen to Oh Darling which is one of the highest songs mccartney sings and he is strainign for those notes with that raw type of gusto that made it awesome. Plant, on the other hand, hit those soprano notes so effortlessly and powerfully people were criticizing him for sounding like a soprano lady singer. nobdoy can bet plant

  • @bluetrova singing high isnt everying you know, but yeah

  • yhea

  • when i heared the solo i said SHIT to bad i really missed page briliant new solo's he keeps surprizing me with brand new solos...and some awsome ones

  • Love the Zep-thanks for uploading this.

    Hope they tour the USA!

  • I saw LZ in Baltimore about the time Stairway came out. Probably $40. a ticket! They are the best rock and roll band. This video sound is terrible by the way!

  • tickets for this were like 2-4 hudred euros directly but people bought them and sold them for THOUSANDS!

  • <3 i love u Z

  • ive never seen a show indoors in which the sound didnt suck for the first couple of numbers.they got it together after about 15 minutes and they rocked .acoustics are strange in a big bowl such as 02 arena

  • jimmy still has it! plant... ehhh...

  • no way, i saw plant last month and his voice was incredible! since he didnt need to sing in such a high key for "bluegrass" tho, maybe thats why he sounded so good, but his voice is still amazing, check out my channel if you wanna hear what im talking about

  • ya, i saw him on tv with allison krauss, he sounded incredible

  • Actually if you look at plant close up=he doesnt have that many wrinkles

DO us a favor =post your picture ,up on the video responces then post another when your 61.COME ON

    DO IT !!!!!!!!!!!!

    ************WE ARE WAITING*********** . . . .Tue /nov/24/2009. . . .

  • ummm u said the same on a diff vid...

    trolling?

  • this version is awful , you guys judging the drums should know it's useless, you can't even hear the guitar clearly, how can you hear the bass drum?

also, a personal opinion, this seems really sad, seeing these old guys playing a rockin song.. I don't think this was a good idea, just my opinion.

  • Everyone who was there said it was phenomenal... you cant say that this was a bad idea simple because were watching an adequate video.. wait til the DVD comes out..your mind will change

  • yeah you're probably right. I bet it was amazing live. thanks for staying positive

  • not positive.. just being honest

  • I know- but people can get negative fast on here.

  • your not lying there!! they sure can!! they flex their internet muscles!

  • you cant judge the triplet action by this song.. hell this version is clouded to the point where you cant even hear his cowbell!

  • aww. roberts gett'n old. but his stage presence is still wonderful. it's just fun to watch him sing, even though his voice isn't as great as it once was.

  • they rock! still!

  • must be all that partying, lol...I love Zep too, but Robert's not at his best here...

  • Robert is doing everything an OCTAVE LOWER :(

  • it's actually closer to 2 or three steps down.

  • key change, not an octave change....

  • well he is in his 60s. hell Mick Jagger has had to change keys on things in his old age. i think the only one who still has his original voice is Ian Gillan of Deep Purple.

  • Paul Rogers can still hit all the high notes too.

  • Roger Daltrey from The WHO too

  • Paul McCartney still sings all his songs in the same keys. Plant still has a highish range, I'm surprised he took things down a tone..

  • 2 things 1 jason didnt hit the trips AT ALL! 2 ZEP ROCKS!!! god ida given my left nut to b there OMG! i wouldve killed anyone not in the band or my family to have gone

  • yes he did... listen closer.... MUCH CLOSER... put headphones on

  • He might have played SOME of the triplets, but he cheated with his snare for some bass drum grace notes by playing some syncopation. Specifically, the pattern just before the first bar of lrr lrr lrr triplets, the foot pattern is r rrr, but he played r hand rr. I couldn't hear the triplets in the subsequent bars. Too muddy, but I know that part was wrong.

  • you need to listen to a better version of this song.. all the triplets are there.. he used his double bass pedal to get the same effect.. this song is too muddy to show it is done right..

  • If he used a double bass pedal, then it's an even bigger abomination than not playing the triplets.

  • this is true...he always played with a double bass.. at least he got it done correctly

  • Dude...he ain't John Bonham lol he's got him in his blood thats for sure.... I'm fucking amazing he got it as close as hit did.... no one in their right mind except drummers (like myself except not in this case) would look to make sure someone was hitting triplets with RRR rather than HRR etc... it sounds awesome and they are tight as hell... who cares man :D just enjoy it

  • ok this sounds fucking horrible i love led zeppelin but wtf is this

  • i dont care what the neighbors say, plant cant sing with the essence of led zeppeln, n thas keeping in mind that zep is my favorite band n it always will be

  • love ledzepplin, wooooohoooooooo!

  • it is nice to see that john paul jones actually stands at the front of the stage now, because he used to hide in the back

  • He did that when he played with Bonzo.

  • It's too bad that the had to bring the key of the song down, most likely because Plant can't hit those notes he could in the 70's.

  • Led-Zeppelin is going on a world tour!!My dream come true!!!

  • me too!

  • wonder what page thinks of gilmour

    ?

  • EURO-FUNBOYS rule!!!

  • lol. *insert golf clap here*

  • Hey man who posted this, how many people did you get videos out of? I saw a lot of camera shots in the beginning. I hope to God this will officially be released. :)

  • it is, don't worry

  • TOURTOURTOURTOUR!!!!

  • that is unbelievably fucking awesome! ZEPPELIN=ROCK GODS
