  • Охуеть....

  • It's funny because we've been told to accept disabled persons, not to look to them, do as they were like us BUT in sports, disables persons are apart, when they run, or anything else, with 'normal' poeple we criticize them, we say they cheat ...

  • I make a homework on him, i've read his book and i've learned a lot. He is not helped: he can't start normally, as you could see, he starts very bad and is in the lasts position because he hasn't muscle to propulse jim but at the end, he is faster because he hasn't muscle to tire. So when we look at the whole race, he isn't helped !!

  • @Vincharello I am reading up now. I think it kind of evens out, same way a triple Triumph 675 runs against 4 banger 600s. BTW I want to see him riding a motorcycle how does he do THAT???

Keep on keeping on Oscar, you rock.

  • POOR LIL TINK TINK

  • @yellow1wing25 You're a real asshole, if you were in his position you would probably shoot yourself in the head... that would be good riddance to bad rubbish.

    Muuuaaaahhhh.... bitch.

  • @KingCast65 i was making a reference to katt Williams. it's unfortunate that this man has a disadvantage. NO ONE in their right mind would go 2 such crazy measures in his fix. CHOSE to continue running. i give him props especially since he's really good at what he does. you honestly don't know me to call me an ass hole. I love how you have nothing better to do than to find old comments and bash random people. that runner has no clue of your existence so why are you wasting your time on me?

  • @yellow1wing25

That's cool man, my bad. I misread you. I was just doing due diligence after the NYTimes story, have a good one.

  • You people are retard, havent any of you search information about the test made in Rice University in Houston for his prosthetics?. Really guys you need to read more, they are unfair compared to human legs in a straight run, but this is a race where you have acceleration phases and ofc its not really a "straight" line. So better get your facts right motherfuckers, he is making an incredible ammount of effort, and yes those legs might help him, but he have other disadvantages !

  • This is both awesome and pretty unfair at the same time.

  • last place you wanna be in a foot race is behind the motherfucker who aint got no foots.

  • Poor lil tink tink.

  • Doesn't matter how many people are inspired by him, at the end of the day he shouldn't be allowed to compete with non-disability athletes. The prostheses do give him an advantage, they're lighter, they have spring, and the fact that they're not muscle means that he has more time until lactic acid build up slows him down, which is the reason why he wins all his races in the last seconds. He is a great athlete and has overcome huge challenges, but he should not compete with non-disabled athletes.

  • He never asked for this....

  • i respect the hell out of him and he is damn impressive but it is not fair that he is allowed to compete with those on

  • To people who say this is unfair:

Maybe it isn't fair that he has so light feets but would it be fair if he wasn't allowed to compete cuz he doesn't have real feets? This man is a true inspiration! Not just do disabled people but to EVERYONE!

His feets are from icelandic company named Össur and just the other day there was little kid on the news(here in Iceland) with feets from Össur and because of that he can train athletics like every other kid! Oscar is his inspiration!

  • @HugrunL95 Of course he should be able to compete, but it should be against people with the same terms as himself. You can't just let him compete against non-disabled athletes because you feel sorry for him. What would be the next then? A braindead chess player with a machine deciding his moves? I know that is a pretty harsh example, but one thing could easily lead to another.

  • I SENSE 'APERTURE SCIENCE' IS BEHIND THIS !!!

  • Poor lil tink tink

  • All i see is a man who moves his legs as fast as the others, who has great will to win as others, who has overcome incredible challenges than others to race and compete with them.

  • He focuses on his ability instead of his disability. Great job Oscar...

  • Comment removed

  • is easy to run with light steal under

  • is an unfair situation due to the bounceback effect of his pseudo legs.. Normal legs don't bounce back and are quite stiff. He can create extra speed due to this. Big respect though for his accomplishment..

  • lol ... jumping high tech legs!

Why that isn't forbidden ? So, give all normal runners that high tech piece .. they would break the WR by 10 secounds.

  • if it was an advantage we would know 100s of no legged sprinters like him. the thing is that it is a huge challenge just to walk with no legs. running is amazing. i would know. only have one leg myself.

  • That just ain't natural.. does he even feel lactic acid burn in his "legs".. I don't think so!

  • @sakkes excellent point.

  • advatage and he didnt win??? mmm.. makes no sense 2 me.. he just wants 2 feel normal by running with the regular athletes.. is that so hard 2 achieve?

  • If the people really think all the 'normal' runners have a disadvantage, why don't they cut they're own legs off and get those?

  • They rebuilt him! They have the technology!

  • GO TINK TINK!!!!!!!!!!!!! mother fucker, you're a runner with no legs, fuck the haters, do your thing man.

  • men + cheetah = Oscar Pistorius

  • I dont care if the legs are an advantage or not. This guy is a champ!

  • wow great

  • Poor Lil Tink Tink

  • I know a hero when I see one.

  • This guy is a Hero

  • i met oscar at the prefontaine classic he is an amazing guy. everything he has done big insperation to me

  • dayum tink tink

  • Wow I didnt even notice the guy had no legs until I read the description

  • Love Oscar, such a beauty. Ran that race ftb

  • Next Level Running Maneuver....

  • cmon man

  • One day, someone will race, riding them Segway scooters.

  • i cant even run that fast, with legs!

  • Check out my newest video Its a song made from ACTUAL sounds of my bathtub :)

  • I wonder if you took a sprinter to run this.. I mean even if usain bolt paced himself, you would think he would still have good time.

  • u gotta remember he doesnt have calf muscles to help him -___-

  • Comment removed

  • If he wins oh right he won because he has those legs fixed and it is unfair boohoo, and if he loses awww look that man lost because he does not have legs and we should feel sorry for him. Either way the man will not get credit. What kind of bullshit is that?

  • @HydroEthiopians

I see the problem. but you will NEVER know if its a bonus to have these legs... The wiegth example. Must be lighter. So. Kinda a hgue problem in sport. I could win easy if i just had jump shoes.

  • @mikethk You also have less blood in your body; less blood means less oxygen in your body. If your arms are doing work, blood from your legs will eventually carry to your arms to help; he doesn't have that option.

  • @HydroEthiopians the real answer is to not feel bad for him for losing. he's obviously not at a disadvantage.

  • @HydroEthiopians

well said, won't have put it any other way...

  • @HydroEthiopians Fuck that I'm giving the man credit! He's a freakin' incredible human being!

  • complicada la situacion de Pistorius, dificil determinar si tiene o no ventaja por sus protesis.

  • poor little Tink-Tink.

  • he can run thats it

  • Poor little tank tank

  • If you play or have played runescape pm me.

  • I KNOE DIS DOESNT HAVE ANYTHING 2 DO WITH DIS VIDEO BUT

<<---- I GOT A FUNNY EPIC BACON FIGHT VS CELERY!!

  • ....also his heart and lungs dont need to supply oxygen to his calves and feet....thus making his cardiovascular and respiratory system more efficient....(he might not need to breath as hard)

  • if he even trips while running... OMG!

  • @vxxxxxvxxxxxv it's a girl you dum

  • I bet you he doesn't train; he just upgrades his legs every year.

  • @Pharoah7400 aahahha nice one xD

  • /watch?v=WjZ3qNlCVzE resident evil porn slide show

  • Poor Little Tink Tink.

  • This is amazing...good for him

  • Gay,people on inner lanes have advantage because it's narrower.

  • @lrcdert2010 that's why the start is staggered...

  • @lrcdert2010 The runners on the inner lane start farther back. Not only that, but the inner lane actually poses a slight disadvantage since it presents a much sharper turning angle and thus limits the runner from going at absolute full speed.

Ofcourse you would know this if you had taken the time to educate yourself before posting your silly comment.

But let's remember this is Youtube and the first instinct that trolls possess is to shout "Fake and Gay" at every opportunity.

  • they did prove that the blades offer him better spring off the ground than a human foot and leg, and theoretically thats an advantage, but there are runners who are still better than him, so it kind of evens out

  • The problem is that Oscar is far better then the runners from US. They have their own legs but Oscar haven't, and they think Oscar gains a lot by "blades...". OH, U SPUPID AMERICANS!!!

  • @koran0nothanx T'as raison!

  • I wonder if they were playing the Bionic Man sound effects over the loud speaker?

  • I am kind of mixed on him being able to compete. He is in fact put at a huge disadvantage in life and in running. But other runners have to train their ankles and their calf muscles and use them in races which takes up energy and fatigue. I think he should be able to compete though, he is an amazing athlete.

  • All the negative comments, why dont YOU cut your legs off and try run a race on blades and PROOF it's an advantage? It's people like YOU who makes this world as fucked up as it is!!!

  • hes got some great calf definition

  • chris brown?

  • THIS MAN IS AN INSPIRATION

  • very good

  • very good

  • 04d ce6 qp2 othuu

  • that's amazing

  • wait, what???

    ooooooooooh....... awkward...

  • Beaten by a guy without legs , lol

  • I'm really happy for him. Oscar you're the BEST!

  • He's a cyborg. This is cheating...

  • The test showd if he had normal legs, he would be about 10 seconds slower. Amputee or not. If you are allowed to run with protheses, you are allowed to run with doping. Which is clearly the same. The athletes who use doping are unable to compete without this kind of protheses, too.

  • the moment he wins an important race, he will be disqualified because everybody will say: "How the f*** is this not an advantage? He won the f***ing race!"

  • cheat

  • leg hack

  • Isn't it unfair people on the outer lanes have to make wider turns????

  • @brikben1205 thats why the start is staggered :)

  • @brikben1205 It would be unfair if they all started at the same line, but the farther out you are, the farther ahead you start in equal increments which bye the end of a race makes everyone run the same, thats why outer lanes are always ahead at first and then equal out after the turns.

  • Go man !!

  • Usain Bolt would win that shit easily.

  • @Tukeppi shut up

  • If you think the carbon fibre blades are an unfair advantage, please feel free to get your legs amputated - then you can have them too!

  • He's fucking white. WTF is wrong with ya all.. Be happy that he can even compete!

  • You go man!

  • Jesus ! I didnt noticed at all ! only when I saw in comments...

  • po little tink tink

  • Talk About a Blade Runner! Hopefully moments like this wont be lost in time like tears in the rain

  • ohhh shit it was at the end of the race that I really found out what the video was about

  • Well done boytjie!! Baie geluk, jy is 'n inspirasie vir duisende!

  • Any advantage the legs may give in energy rebound or spring is instantly negated by the fact that this guy is effectively running blind, he has to run just as fast as his competitors without being able to feel how he is running on the lower half and make corrections, something which I feel takes even more work and dedication, so bravo

  • RESPECT!!!

  • is there a "paralympics" world championship available? if so then he should be running in that competition. no disrespect to the man.

  • Hero!

  • wow

  • no offense to the guy, but i think that those carbon expensive legs give him an advantage, science has improved a lot. but nice work guy

  • @brahim121985brahim why don't you cut your legs and give it a go at the olimpics using carbon vlades?

  • @cularu1 i mean it's like Robocop, if you can see that

  • @brahim121985brahim I was thinking the same thing. I know it would help by not having so much pain in his ankles and feet (obviously), but I think the pain would just transfer to the points where his legs rest on the expansions. I dunno. Either way, dude's a beast for never letting down.

  • @brahim121985brahim If it was a big advantage, he would have came out number 1 all the time. The blade are designed with restrictions. They are not as bouncy as when the early versions. This one takes in impact like real legs. When there is no rebound, there is no advantage. Look at his early videos and see the difference.

  • @netmatrix75 i saw a whole documentary about those carbon legs. those legs are specillay created to run in tournament, in Real life this guy uses other legs. it's like Robocop: the man is even dead, but he's stronger then everybody

  • future!

  • GREAT job oscar :]

  • good for him, he works incredibly hard, but I don't at all think he should be competing against people with normal legs. But everybody wants to be PC, and he keeps whining, so i guess he'll get his way. I think he should just be satisfied with his great times and piss off.

  • good for him, he works incredibly hard, but I don't at all think he should be competing against people with normal legs. But everybody wants to be PC, and he keeps whining, so i guess he'll get his way.

  • impossible is nothing

  • um no offense to the guy but he should not b running in the world champiionships....he should be in the speacail olypics or whatever that is cuz we just don't know if the prostetic legs give him an advantage.....so its not fair, atleast thats what i think

  • @trav11193 but if he didnt even make it into the final of this event, surely he is no threat to anyone, hes just a man with a dream. and btw, its called the paralypics

  • @trav11193 They are not even close to an advantage. Everyone else gets to run with their calfs and thighs. This guy does all his work with his upper legs. He also has horrible horrible traction comparatively. See how his legs fly out to the side? This man is an inspiration and were he able bodied he would be competing for 1st. He's made the best with what he has. And him in the para Olympics, is just kinda funny because of how far above everyone else he is.

  • In ur face JESUS!!!!!!

  • impresionante !!!! unbelievable !!!

  • Simplemente increible

  • Never understands this.Man is awesome, having no legs and competeng with best world athlets. If you don`t like his prostheses, invent own, which wil have equal charachteristics with normal legs.Help a guy to be fully legal, for what this stupid ignorance?

  • Flipante... para quitarse el sombrero!

  • I'm honestly surprised he's doing sprinting events. He'd be even better in marathons if he trained for them. I mean, what's he gonna have? Heel injuries? Calf cramps? Toe pain?

  • Paralympics for him

  • It's an advantage because his lower legs aren't getting the wear and tear others are and the springback us artificially produced

  • @killdeslm problem with that theory is that the calf, the foot muscles, etc., all provide spring too, and even MORE control over the movement of the body in a curve. He clearly has a great disadvantage, and could fall at any time. He's mastered something that is otherwise hard to do. He's like the lady without hands that has learned to paint with a brush held between her toes. Ease up, this man is an inspiration and the fact that he is competing at this level is NOT because of some sticks.

  • @chordboard course he's at a disadvantage, he's unique and belongs in the Paralympics where his gulf in class will be rightfully proven

  • Oscar you are an inspiration to all man kind! :D

    Eitan, Israel

  • hes my new hero

  • if his legs aren't such an advantage, perhaps he should take them off and see how well he does.

  • @d314j4 funny

  • @d314j4 yogic flying you mean?

  • if being a double amputee and running on carbon fibre prostheses is such an advantage, why are we not looking at hordes of paralympians breaking all the records set by 'able-bodied' athletes? Give the man a break, you tossers and realise quite what a remarkable feat this is.

you go, oscar! ya little biscuit!

  • @tgct17

the paraolympiade is the better place for him.. I mean in the other way " normal" athletes could start in a paraolympiade.. thats ridicoulus

  • @tgct17 His qualification to compete is based on the advantage he would have as well as where that may take competition in the future. Athletes want to win by any means necessary. They sacrifice all types of things to win, social lives, diets, putting their bodies through brutal physical training, etc. If there appears to be a clear advantage you can be sure to start seeing athletes begin voluntarily modifying their bodies to get that edge just like steroids.

  • @tgct17 hordes of double amputees? There just aren't that many of them, let alone ones that are as physically capable as Oscar. This is such a BAD argument it's not even funny. (I know Oscar has used the very same one in an interview.) At any rate, I'm not banging on the guy--I think what he's doing is great. But I think there's room to question whether or not he really does have an advantage because of the double prostheses.

  • oscar goes to pistorius.

  • He could possibly be
