  • Thanks so much for uploading this..!

  • 2-26-77 is where it's at kids

short and sweet with perfected filter tone and phrasing

love cornell but check it out

  • Although I agree, that one at Cornell in particularly good I was lucky enough to have seen this at least 3 times back then with the last one at Winterland 1978-10-20(Fri) being the best; even though I still can see clearly in color in my mind at my 1st show (2nd day opening for The Who) Garcia with his foot on the wah-wah playing slide, something I don't think I ever saw again!

    Augy

    San Diego

  • dancin. favorite song next to shakedown. discodead

  • I'd say the entire spring '77 tour was exceptionally amazing as well as legendary...

  • Doesn't hold a candle to "Dancin" from 5-8-77. :-)

  • @MattL0318 was 5 8 77 at Cornell in Ithaca, NY?? My college buddy had a tape from around that time of dancing..it was the last song of the first set...it was freaking epic

  • @MrMadaicseason Yes. The whole show is "freaking epic".

  • @MattL0318 god I wish someone would upload that. definitely on my top 5 list.

  • @MattL0318 yeah 5-8-77 is probably the best, but there's another one that is really underrated. Cape Cod Coliseum 10-27-79. Check it out folks

  • @jgfunk Will do. Thanks for the heads-up. Also, if you haven't already, be sure to check out 1977-10-29 from Northern Illinois University. It's freakin' brilliant and I've never heard "Eyes" played that way.

  • this might be a rare case where i actually like the album version better. the horns in the album version really bring it out
