ok, but the old light bulbs have the nice "crossfade" to each other. And this effect is necessary for the sequential effect. Leds like this only make a stressy blinking :-(
If you get them for turn signals, you also have to get a flasher that doesn't have the "burned out light" circuit in it that triggers hyperflash(fast flashing turn signals)when a turn signal bulb is burned out. "LED compatible" flashers aka electronic flashers are what you'd need then.
@Brendon00000 $20?!?! each?!?! where are you shopping, I can get 4 for $20 on ebay. I have been buying from sellers on ebay for years, just look up your bulb type and LED and you will find them. It may take a couple of weeks to get them unless you find one selling them in the US, but from china will save you about 20%.
@obxjeepguy Ok, but the ebay LED's I have been using are very bright and work perfectly, maybe the ones you got are the ones with like 13 LEDs or something, I use the ones with 60+ LED's even 102 LED's My front blinkers are very bright, my reverse lights are just as bright as incandescent so you just gotta get the new one's. Good luck.
finally Ive looke all over for a video from you guys, what a difference, would be interested in new bulbs for my crx to go along with my HID's so as far as I know I need alot of those 1156 bulbs and that the 1157 is the replacement for the 2057
Are you able to adjust the speed of the sequential with the LED set-up?
Because I'm actually more fond of the original bulb speed, as opposed to the faster LED speed which makes it look more like the new Mustang's. That quicker speed looks more attractive in a short tail-light box like the Mustang, but not so much in the wider tail-light bar of the Cougar.
How much current does it draw? My only worry would be that the wires in my '68 wouldn't be able to supply the lights with enough electricity to make them work

@MrTakaMOSHi LED lights only use a fraction of the power of a regular bulb. if anything it would be better for your wires.
