get both sea charts and sail to the northeastern sea and collect the first pure metal then go to the island covered in ice linebeck will tell you to shoot down the ice walls then get to the temple of ice and when youre about halfway through it in a chest will be a grapple hook.

next time you will learn to get to the midpoint i about 2 mins. i did it normally and it took me 1:30 mins. you can also see some other guys on youtube do it without wasting any time. i mean.. yeah they waste but they take some more in yellow pots and it seems they did not use any time from the hourglass. ;)

if you have treasure maps then sometimes you can get more time in your hourglass.

you can get them from treasure charts and the obvious treasure chests and you CAN buy them from the masked boat and MOST island shope. if that helped at all.
