I'm from the US and friggin LOVE Madness! People who don't know who Madness are, are sorely missing out. Madness is one of my favorite bands. I've been listening to them for 15 years. By the way I'm only 27. Suggs is the man!

I can believe some people wouldn't know who suggs is by name (the yanks). But pretty much everyone knows who madness are...

As a few of the comments are obviously from Brits, we should be proud that the band from our country completely dominated the Ska scene in the 70's -80's (and in my opinion are still the best ska band going).

If your from the US watching a UK show where 90% of the guests are from the UK, you cant expect to know all of them...

Just curious if you know who Suggs even is? He is not quit as household a name in the US and other places as he is in Britian.

I saw him on some TV show and they said he was a big star in the UK. Basically in the US people are aware of him as the Our House guy, but no one knows his name. That's all I I know about him.

He's hardly a recent "export". Madness' most famous work is over 20 years old, they were extremely prominent in the 70s-80s ska revival. Not to everyone's taste granted, but undeniably in the development of certain (significant) genres of music, Madness were enormously influential.
