A lot of critics don't like Hinder but I think they are pretty good, and I like that they can replicate or almost replicate the sound of their songs live but with a bit more edge, that's not something a lot of bands can do.

@FrozenDarkStar yes, a band without a bass would be strange in a certain point of view, in fact, music need to be well perceived and well pretty, a certain "bass/low" frequency amount, till the "life" part of a sound is often situated (to dont say always) in the low frequency part of the freq range.

so either a bass made by a guitar type, or piano, or drum or something... will be needed to make this "loudness/life" you like in it!
