The whole Thai society has really made a big mistake by not supporting the red shirts' peaceful call for an immediate election to democratically elect their leaders and government. The whole world knows that their current PM, Abhisit was not democratically elected but came into power through a power grab by the yellow shirts. Now that > 70 people have died, it is naive to even think the struggle has ended.

Thailand cannot hope to deny the all the political events that have taken place in the past few years because everything is reported by the international media. People from all over the world can see and judge these events for themselves from an unbiased viewpoint.

@QdojocityQ, That the whole Thai society has foolishly missed the golden opportunity to preserve peace in their nation by agreeing to hold a new election, can be seen by the disastrous consequences of the army crackdown on the red shirts. With around 80 people killed as a sacrifice of their struggle, the majority being red shirt supporters, it is naive of the Thai society to think that all can be forgiven and forgotten.
