I have adopted a total of 6 dogs at the animal shelter and they are great they were all on their death beds about to be euthanized wether it was because they were too big, because they had heartworms, or becuase they were to busted up to be adopted out...volunteering has its perts...and i saved them and they are home
My dog Saya was at a pound before I took her in. She knew how to sit and lay and I think roll over. Idk why anyone would EVER want to get rid of her. Im thinking the was abused because she dosnt like brooms. She always back away from them and hides in my room.
I adopted my dog Emma a year ago this April. She was abused then dropped off at a shelter. It was her last day there before getting uthiniezed but then another shelter took her in. She spent six months at that shelter. Each Saturday of those months she would be put in a cage in front of Petsmart in hopes of getting adopted; getting rejected each time. One day my mom and I were walking past her solemn face and we couldn't pass her up. I've had her for a year. The happiest year of my life.
I have a rescue named "Winston". A terrier mix...I am guessing Carin (Toto) and Yorkie. Every day he says "thank you". I adore this animal. "Winston" and "Oliver" could be pals and cousins. Such a wonderful friend he is. Oliver's sweet little mixed up face...so sweet and kind.
Dogs don't really know why they go in the pound and really they hope you will come back. After i put my dog in the pound i cried so much because it was my moms desision. and when i showed my mom this she cried a little to
Thank you for posting this. I have been looking for this commercial since the first time I saw it on TV... probably the saddest thing I've ever seen on television. I'm so glad he got adopted.
These commericals make me so sad. I'm glad they're showing them, though; most people don't even think about this kind of stuff. I wish they'd show the ASPCA Sarah McLachlan one more often, too.
I hope Oliver is with a good family.

na minha opinião todos os videos com animais nos mostrão a candura a inocencia e a dependência deles para conosco seres humanos

what kind of dog is he?
smaraha 3 years ago
He is nearly identical to the terrier/poodle cross that we had for almost 15 years. A large part of the reason why this commercial made me cry...
dezh 3 years ago
he is a mix. but he is a terrier. and he has some norrich terrier in him and some west highland terrier in him that we know for sure.

These commercials always make me cry really hard.
I'm not sure why. I don't cry a whole lot; the entire concept represented here, though. It just makes me unbearably sad.
Everybody deserves to be loved.

Me too, but don't worry - this story has a happy ending! Search for "Oliver gets adopted"!
