Celine is the only major diva of the 90s that has her voice still. I've seen them all live at their peak an in recent years and she's still got it. Maybe she's still got it because she never took drugs or partied hard like the others.
I don't think she's lyp-singing, she's just gifted. DOLLY PARTON lip synched her entire set list minus one or two numbers on her WHOLE world tour 2008 and also used album vocals.

To those who don't know, that footage was shown in a Quebec TV show named Star Academie to show to contestants trying to be singers that the career is very tough. Celine was very sick on that day and her eyes are big when she hits the note 'cause she didn't think she would and it is very very demanding for her on that night.

This is not the same performance as the Star Academie footage. Her voice here is much better. Anyway the high note is ALWAYS lipped.

GREATEST DIVA OF ALL TIME! Gives me goosebumps hearing her belt. AS far as i know, she sings live in her concerts. Her voice is just built for this song so she can sing her songs over and over again. She mastered her songs of course. Bravo Celine!

I know some people both critics and people working with her and they attested Celine sings LIVE in her concerts even in her Vegas show. She is just extraordinarily talented and vocally powerful. Truly her own gift. She can sing and dance gracefully at the same time. Best in scat singing, can do opera, sings in different languags, humble, etc. Total package. Don't think her voice got deeper. And for that breath thing, don't think that it's possible not to get out of breath after that performace.
She still have the most amazing voice, none can seriously compare with her, at least according to my ears :)

nah THIS one isn't lip synched -- perhaps the long, high note, but probably not. I think she lip synchs "Taking Chances almost every time though (since she got sick that time and didn't do so hot.

@rlf4403tube if charice was going to be a star she would have made it by now,she has had television appearances all over the world, but she obviously is not worth the record companies taking a risk on,until they spend the money and promote her she will just be a young woman with a good voice, and there are thousands of those, in the u.k we have kerry ellis a theatre star who sings better than charice but kerry is only known in theatre

it common knowledge that the any - 'MORE' bit it pre-recorded. but youve gotta think, they must have some amazing sound guys to be able to match audio levels etc to pull it off, because it would be a catastrophe if she was to go for the big note.....then nothing......or it being obviously different in levels etc.....full to watch maybe haha

Actually Celine's playbacks are recorded in acapella (no music), so playing her vocals over the live band is easy.
