Actually Nahid ji is all about melody...every part of her being sings....and hence for her the most important aspect is the 'harmony' that she creates between Silence and Sound....between Stillness and Motion....she always says that one should not exaggerate the dance, let the dance become you and in tourn you become Kathak...

Kya baat hai....itna khub surat......it's just so pure and so beautiful to watch Nahid ji.....I simply do not have any words.....in today's Kathak there is absolutely no peace and harmony...and it is more of a show off - you show your virtuosity, but that vistuosity is not beauty - it is a struggle and hence it is a juggle...but Nahidjis's work is much beyond all these struggle - that is where she excels as a guru, as performer and as a human being....her dance is divine....
