acctualy some rolls royces can cost up to $1million usd. and even though bmw bought out rolls, most of the car is hand built and have liftime warrenties, and are capable of doing over 155 but european laws limit to 155 mph. and recently rolls royce quality was voted (again) best over bentley, maybach, mersedes s-class and the bmw 7 series

Not that significant, i have the exact same tranny and engine in my bmw as the rolls royce silver serpah, displacment or power did not change at all and the silver serpah was replaced by the phantom. Also VW group owned rolls royce when they produced the silver serpah but they still used a bmw powertrain.
