I'm not 100% sure i think it's different in different DAW's but i use Acid Pro and how you would do it in Acid Pro is record your vox (vocals) put the FX that you want as inserts on the vox track itself and then the FX that you want as sends put them on a bus and set your vox track to the bus that you put your sends on....

I would say with Eq'ing vocals put a few db at 3khz but not to much it will make the vocal sound lispy. But at 3khz notch all the instrament frequencies so the vocal can cut through the mix without having to turn up the vocal track so you can hear it better.

5 and 6 doesn't refer to generation it refers to the size of the mid-range woofer.

You need recycle to chop up your sample and place either in your dr rex or NNXT. Been using it since 2004. Once you chop it in recycle you export it as AIFF file to your folder and then import it thru reason. Thats all the rest is the creative process. Peace.
