That happens quite frequently at my house, but the cats usually leave the shredded toilet paper on the living room floor.

Peanut drinks from the bathtub faucet. When I first got him, the faucet dripped, but then after a few months I repaired it, but Peanut got used to drinking there, and if I don't turn the water on for him, he sits in the tub meowing. so I normally just leave the water always dripping for him.

You should see the bathtub NOW. It is utterly full of shredded TP, and anything that Bogie has decided makes a really cool cat toy. Lipstick tubes, empty TP roll, pen caps, his actual cat toys. Our spare bathroom is now officially a kitty toy box.

Thankfully he has yet to figure out how to open the interior doors in the house (my last cat knew, and it was a bitch keeping her out of spare bedrooms) or the cupboards, so the contents of those places are safe. So far.

Me, too. I didn't know that at the time he chose me, he'd been there that long (North Valley is a killing shelter). You don't get to see their intake papers until you have already handed over the cash and signed on the bottom line. His number was soon to be up, so it was fortuitous all the way around.

He just turned 7 months old, so he's still just a kitten really. He's grown SO much in the past month. Finally getting good, plentiful food and some dog buddies to hang out and play with. A shelter is no place to live, and he was there 2 months before I came along and he screamed "Yo! Get me OUTTA here, lady!"

Some cats LOVE a new roll of TP.

I'll never forget the image of Frankie (the Destroyer) when he came running out of the bathroom & through the front room with the end of a roll in his mouth - he was like a teenager rolling a house he was having such a good time. Definitely worth the mess!

Hee, hee - he couldn't make me mad. I left him the dead roll of tissue in the tub as a toy, since he likes it so well. Long as he doesn't drag his kill out into the living room, it's allll good.
